just saw them in Vegas last week. Donny is a real pro and holds the show together. Marie falls apart , literally as she is constantly fussing with hair and wardrobe problems and brings the mood down with memories of her son. They still sing well !

I just saw Donny and Marie on Piers Morgan. Donny still has insecurity about his image. Marie seems relaxed. Donny ,it seems,has to be on stage. He has to be liked. He needs the attention. Not really a big ego thing...just to be liked by people. Its sad in way. As you get older these things should not matter. You should be at peace by his age. He may never be able to be at peace with himself. Who cares if people burn your records...at least they bought them in the first place!!!!!!!!!

My mom was a big Donny fan back in the 70s she told me she had his posters from magezines everywhere in her room so i'm guessing she passed down the love of Donny to me because I think he was so adorable back then! Not my favorite though of the 70s teen idol but, I still find his music amazing as well as Marie and the rest of the Osmonds. I wish I could have lived back in the 70s =(

I grew up in so cal and Marie came to my jr. high in the SF valley. I was also very lucky and got to meet all the brothers when they recorded the song "I Believe" for the Donny and Marie show at Zuma Beach. It was just them, their crew and me. So I got to stay and watch them record and had them all to myself with no body else on the beach. They were dressed in their color tux's, looked awesome and each of them were very nice to me during that two hours of heaven.  Life was goooood!
