You play beautifully! I just brought a violin, but no teacher...I learn everything by ear, but I want to play something other than the same screeching I've been doing...*sigh* anything is possible...I want to play just like you! *wink*

@iKaizyn Hello ! are you serious!? haha thank you though. Of all, I always think my violin play sucks. Anyways, I learned vibrato slowly by myself without any initiative by my teacher. You can look up in youtube for violin lessons :) im sure they have it. and look up for Alexander Markov's technical practices too ! Hope that could help ! Oh yeah, can you read notes ? If you could , buy a Suzuki book. And for your screeching, dont bow either too hard or strike it too slow ! ^ ^ have fun

@Vyszeamy Thankyou for the advice! I'll be sure to look it up and no, your violin playing does not suck! not by miles, especially since your self taught, I applaud you even more! I admire people who are self motivated and taught, natural talent right there! *smiles* I play the guitar, piano and drums by ear, but the violin is a beautiful instrument that I really really love and want to learn...keep it up! Love to see more...=)

@iKaizyn Hahah actually, I have my own violin teacher ^ ^ I only self taught myself the guitar. Actually, to be good you need the right teacher :) You might play an instrument for 8 years, but if you keep on playing the wrong thing your techniques will still suck ! so we all need a guider ! I self taught myself the vibrato part only, cause my teacher didn't teach me till he found out I could do it myself ! haha. best of luck ! :)

You're pretty good for just playing for about 3 months. Many 4 now lol. But keep it up.

I would suggest that you do your vibrato's more slower and not too fast. One you've got the hang of doing a vibrato, then I think it would be best to do a faster paced one.

Haha ! Idk ! they are called "learning tapes" to get these basic notes. My teacher taped them for me. thanks! I screwed up one part :( LOL
