i think he did, i saw an interview where he went back to the school and made a speech to everyone and talked about everything he went through there.

@shidizzm if you referring to the UCLA interview , he did not go there , he went to Flordia U . It wasnt his wrist that he broke , he knocked out his two front teeth at Sensation Basin . The more recent interviews with Tony Hawk show that his two front teeth keep falling out (now that is) and he explains the entire story of how he lost them.

@Quick16Silva The Mutt wasn't actually fully written by Rodney Mullen , it was in collaboration with Sean Mortimer , look at every interview you see with Rodney , there's usually a story that doesnt follow the book , but follows the same basis of what was included...
