Also, you're wrong about the Dems in congress, some of them voted with the Republicans to create a majority on the budgets, which were almost exactly in line with what Reagan proposed.
And the Obama economic situation is basically inherited. We've seen many straight months of economic growth, and unemployment is back to what it was when Obama took office.
