  • Mr. Sugano plays this etude as fast and outstanding as Horowitz did on Horowitz's latest LP recording....Horowitz also recorded a slower version in 1965....

  • probably :D

  • its marked allegro forte why is everybody saying its too fast

  • @anonymousQ45 Last I checked, Allegro doesn't mean Presto, or Prestissimo, much like Sugar Foot here is playing it.

  • @MYoung3393 the tempo is prob around 150

  • It's not too fast, listen to Zimerman or Blechacz playing this etude in the same competition. Unfortunately, he still needs to practise this piece.

  • too fast. Definitely sounds nervous. This has happened to myself so I should know!

  • i feel this guy is kinda nervous, that's why he's going so fast and muddling up so many of the runs....

  • 素晴らしい音楽性!

  • where is he from?

  • He is a japanese pianist.

  • This pianist has a strong technique; that is obvious. For this piece, however, I'd suggest more music and less finger exercise. A bit slower and a lot more elegant would be a big improvement (listen to Horowitz in the 1965 Carnegie Hall recital; it's not that fast, but it's absolutely dazzling).

  • i love this etude

  • Thank you "datruzepp"for post it. Beautiful interpretation but in the most difficult pasages is imposible to see the hands of the pianist.

  • 2010? hahaha

  • Awsome yo btw does anyone know when is the next competition is it in 20010

  • It's not in 20010

  • nice work
