  • i see a y-pipe chief

  • yes you can remove them , but keep in mind you are breaking a federal law by doing so, and runnng the risk of not passing smog.

  • I have an 07 also. i didnt remove the secondary cats but i did take them off and gut them. I am currently running open but i am either going with glass packs or 40's. There is no h pipe. The stock exhaust on an 07 runs true to the dual in single out muffler. the h pipe is custom. i went with an x pipe. The 05 isint true dual all the way back. And if it is a 2wd then you will have resonators not secondary cats.

  • jdkriek

not true i just got true duel straights put on my 07 titan and its 2 wheel and it has four cats but striaghts are super loud

  • where is the H crossover located exactly? how far behind the headers? thx..

  • Only 4x4s have 4 cats, 4x2s have 2 cats and 2 res

  • could you explain exactly what you did? i want to do the same for my 05 titan

  • is this a full flowmaster set up? or is there stock tubing?

  • dont you lose horse power when removing the cats?

  • Sounds great Im def gunna do this to mine

  • what does secondary cats mean

  • These trucks have 4 catalytic converters. You can remove the second set because they are behind the rear o2 sensors. Helps flow and makes it louder.

  • @pitzer3 is it still street legal if you do so? like will it pass inspection?
