Freemasonry is not about finding another way to Heaven, in fact, freemasonry boasts that it does not offer any form of salvation at all. This was even told to me the night of my initiation. The goal of freemasonry is to promote instruction of good moral character and charity. As far as the founding fathers go, they were battling oppression from a government, creating a free world were man would have freedom, NOT because they just didn't like the way the mayor shakes hands.

Although freemasonry says we "take good men and make them better," I hold the belief that there is no such thing as a good man. The Bible even says that "there are none good, no not one,"and that "all of our righteousness are as filthy rags,"and even "The very imagination of man is wicked." I believe that 100%, and that is why Jesus had to come and die on a cross for our redemption. The symbology within masonry is not for worship, it is for instruction on moral character. There is no such thing as a "goat ride," there are no goats anywhere. And again, the baphomet has nothing to do with freemasonry. Just look up the Leo Taxil scandal and you will see the origin of the baphomet. Also, it was not washington alone that declared war, it was most of the colonies. Also, I have never once seen anything about washington declaring himself God. I have never seen anything against God inside of the lodge. I honestly from my heart cannot find any evidence against freemasonry.
