It's the Sync being out of faze that makes the band seem like it's not in the groove, their heads are moving like the,Two wild and crazy guys of Sat.Night fame.
Dony Wynn and Tony Thompson are really the only guy's who can play drums to a song like this. The drum beat in this particular rendition just doesn't sound right.
sorry, irated your commetn good....that was my fault because i didn't read it 100%. I WANT TO CORRECT IT: Your comment sucks beacause the whole song sounds great. even the drums.
Chill out killer....I wasn't saying that it was bad, per se. Just not quite as good as the original (along with the Live Aid version as well). Maybe my critiquing of the drums was a bit too harsh, okay? I do apologize however. Cheers.
@stovetube Could you please synch up this video? It's not in line with the audio. Thanks for the upload!

Nobody is that bad at lip synching. The video is not up to speed with the audio. Great song though. I love it.

Someone asked who the drummer was. That is Steve Jordan who was the original drummer in the show's band.

The audio could have been better.
But that band kicks out the Park. .
These guys would show up and learn the song on the spot.
Armani or not. Palmer is a classy writer.

Isn't the drummer the guy on the Keith Richards and Chuck Berry version of 'Carol', done in a studio?
He's GOOD...
