I know the boat flying into space was faked. However, I believe that the rest is true. As it flys up you see some black ball, and I think that's all you see.

@TitanicWill Actually the black ball is the light point (sun) in the game, but if you get out of game boundary you see it as a black ball. The real thing was the speed and the fact that we were able to lower gravity force and change the materials bounce factor. Only the shadow passing the moon is the fake part.

the jump was real within the games limmids. The piece of space was trick. After this jump the ship does not return and you have to restart, so the end is another jump :)
