Do the math. (4) 600 amp batts.(deep cycle) in parallel will be 12 volts x 2400 Ah = 28,800 watts. This is already more than you've got. Snicker Snicker. Cheaper and less noisy too! Now double that. 12v x 4800 Ah = 57,600 watts!

This could be useful if you needed lots of amps to run an inverter. You could easily power a concert will all those alternators. Each one probably outputs around 120 to 150amps. Puts a lot of extra load on your engine. You would be burning more gas.

wrong. each one of those is at least a 300 to 500 amp leece neville. they power high output cb amplifiers. and when you have the money to do a custom install like this who cares about fuel consumption?

500 AMP??? If you say so. I used to rebuild alternators for off-road trophy trucks and drag racers. The HD (high output) alternators with dual rectifiers never got above 250. So maybe they are a little more powerful than I first mentioned. W=V*A. By using this formula and 4 X 500Amp (theoretical) alternators, then the setup above could output 24,000 watts!. What CB radio takes that much juice?

@Rosenberger31 Dude they got mobile amp set-ups that put out 70,000+ watts, Clear channel AM stations only put out 50,000 watts. These boys are serious into it. Look for the keydown vids. One ol boy runs so much power that when he keysdown for over 5-seconds he passes out from the huge electro-magnetic field that's produced, it shorts his brain out. Might not be a good idea but he's been known to light up all the flouresent lights inside of a Burger king after hours.
