It's crazy...if you listen to Amy on her FIRST album 'Frank', her voice sounded just as fresh and strong as Dionne's ...it's like Amy knew that she was going to die young and trained Dionne (vocally) to carry the torch. Hopefully she doesn't follow in the same footsteps with the drugs and alcohol.

I like Amy Winehouse, but I LOVE DIONNE BROMFIELD'S MUSIC! I think Dionne is ahead of her Godmother in ability. She sounds similar to Amy in her annunciation, but her tone is more unique than anyone else I've ever heard. Her voice is growing in maturity. I swear she is going to be a Superstar someday! I just pray that she avoids the pitfalls that Amy got caught up in. I bought her first CD, and can hardly wait for the next one to be released. Best wishes!

@ItsAMePaige Although true that Amy's amazing voice is no longer what it used to be due to her self abuse, even Amy said that Dionne is ahead of her "at that age" when she signed her. So I meant ahead in abilities as compared to when Amy was a teenageer. I sorta grew up with listening to Amy, but disappointed by her down turn. With Dionne, I've great hope for her because she is singing music I love, not the new crap I hear on the radio in the States. Best wishes!

Amy voice will be fine she just needs to do more tours and it will be back in shape it just like any other part of her body. It needs strengthening!! When you abuse drugs and alcohol they take there toll but if you listen to her singing boulevard of broken dream by Tony Bennett her voice it in top form!!! She also has insecurity that's what holding her back!! But she didn't do drugs for 10 years, just 2 self-destructive years so she can easily get her voice back!!

@bellaimages Hold your horses!! She is no way ahead of Amy!!! when Amy was 17 she could sing circles around Dionne!! Hell when she 16 she could sing better. But in a few years she'll be amazing let's not compare the two because everything she learned musically came from other singers mostly Amy and Alicia keys and some other people. But Amy learned from jazz singers. Dionne doesn't have enough stage presence yet but she'll get there will practice. I can't wait until she's in her prime :)!!

Cigarettes and alcohol will damage a voice over time. Sad to say, but Amy will never recapture what she had at age 20. Excuse me for having so much hope in Dionne! I believe Dionne Bromfield has a future in music! So I'm just enjoying her while she embarks on it right now! She's very talented!
