The " real " version is much better , the instrumental part of the song is way much sensitive and better , this is too noisy dark drums , but good too . Really nice ending with vocals in this though !

For some reason the other version never really worked for me. It just didn't give me the sort of feeling I got when I listened to some other Bon Jovi ballads. This, one, though, sent shivers down my spine when I first heard it. Superb.

I think this version is arguably better then the one we all typically know and love. Jons voice has a much more raw sound, and the ending of the song where he goes into a higher range is awesome. The simplicity of the song in general gives much more emphasis on the beauty of the Lyrics. The Acoustic guitar solo is also great once again more simple, personally I think it fits better. Overall both versions are great but I prefer this one better
