  • I'm glad to see John walking after that brutal bitch slap by David Shultz.

  • I'm torn. Yes, guns DO bring self-comfort. But I'm not impartial to say that people, even with firearms training are skilled enough to use a gun in a crisis. You're not going to be in that long hall with a single, unmoving target.

  • @WyattsFreakinChannel I still would much rather be armed with a firearm than a kitchen knife if I ever have to face an intruder in my home.

  • What happens when you miss or if the "bad guy" takes your gun! If you carry? The bad guy steals yours your carrying for them to use. Gangs get kids to carry they stuff here but with so many around you could be making they life easy! You can't shot an unarmed man/child! Surly if you have a gun the crimenal needs one!

  • @gomikeygomikey That's why I support concealed carry. If it's legal in the city you live in the criminal doesn't know who has a gun and who doesn't. That makes far more unpredictable and dangerous for the criminal.

  • @gomikeygomikey

    1. The same 'what if you miss' crap applies to COPS...do you ask COPS this question?

    2. The bad guys will know I have a gun when its pointed at their head. I dont open carry.

    3. YES, you CAN shoot ANYONE, armed or not, that is physically assaulting you and putting you in danger of serious bodily injury...sorry about your error.

  • 1:49 Bill it didnt make a difference XD

  • People, Americans, always get it wrong with the Consitution. They think that it, the Consitution, gives us rights. That is a lie, myth, and downright stupid. The Constitution is a document that merely states those rights that are given from (insert your diety here) to man. So when people say, "It's my Constitutional right," that is ignorance speaking. They should be educated to know it is their God given (or other diety, including but not limited to nature) right. That is a fact.

  • LOL Chick with the gun gonna pop a cap in yo azz if you try to rape her

  • Rosy O'Donnel needs to shut the hell up and go eat a fucking Ham Sandwich!

  • this report is kind of rubbish... first of all, it only looks at 1 side of the story, as if they wanted to proof a point they already had in mind. Second because they base themselves on facts coming only from the US. Look at Europe for example, gun restrictions and indeed a LOT less gun fatalities. It is not because you implement a law for 1 to 5 years in a couple of states in the US that things will drastically change. It takes time to get all the guns out of the streets and the illegal circuit.

  • @borry28 The story centers on what happens here in the U.S., and (on the whole) they are absolutely right. Switzerland has a higher percentage of armed citizens and households and more lawfully owned guns per capita than even the U.S., and they're one of the most peaceful countries in the whole of Europe.

  • @Excedrine no, it's not... look in wikipedia. Switzerland has half the amount of guns per capita then the U.S. And i'm pretty sure these are mostly hunting rifles more then 'home protection weapons'. I'm from Belgium and look what happened in Liege. hundreds wounded by a mad man throwing grenades in a mob a people. Guns and weapons for people is NEVER a good thing.

  • @borry28 I get my numbers straight from the Swiss government, not some wiki that *anyone* can edit. At least half those guns are military-issue SIG rifles (they have a compulsory military service thing going over there, y'know), though they're kinda' weird about ammunition.

Also, you're using blanket statements gleaned from a SINGLE, ISOLATED EVENT caused by a SINGLE, DERANGED MAN who got his hands on ILLEGAL WEAPONS. ILLEGALLY.

Guns for RESPONSIBLE people is a GOOD thing.

  • @borry28

"hundreds wounded by a mad man throwing grenades in a mob a people. Guns and weapons for people is NEVER a good thing"

    =

WOW...THANKS for PROVING OUR CASE that law abiding citizens MUST have a tool to take these violent criminals down before they get high body counts.

You anti's never comprehend the fact that EVERY violent crime you bring up PrOVES OUR argument for us.

So thank you for the effort and the fine job of doing so.

  • @Excaliburxxxxxx The only thing I proved is that guns are dangerous, This is a single incident where one lunatic has the possiblity to shoot a mob, if everybody had a gun, these kind of incidents would happed more and more frequently. Why? Because lots of people out there are not stable normal people, and the least stable people of all are the ones who feel the need to have a big gun or a powerful dog etc

  • @borry28

"Is there less raping going on in America then here because you have guns and can protect yourself? "

    =

Actually, yes...rapes and violent crime HAS gone down during the same timeframe that more concealed carry has come about.

Doesnt prove anything, but rape IS down and there are stories here on YT where woman have killed rapists with GUNS.

    Sorry about your confusion.

  • @borry28

    Guns ARE dangerous.

So fukking dangerous that RAPISTS and MURDERERS AVOID anyone they think has a gun.

So dangerous that COPS KNOW they can STOP rapists and murderers with a gun.

yeah, guns ARE dangerous....and Im fukking glad they are so while YOUR wife is spreading her legs for some felon MY wife will be blowing the back of his fukking skull out with one of our numerous handguns or shotguns.

  • @borry28

"Why? Because lots of people out there are not stable normal people, and the least stable people of all are the ones who feel the need to have a big gun "

    =

And if they dont have a gun, they make pipe bombs...or run down people with trucks.

Sorry but even law enforcement admits this fact.

All taking guns away does is insure that women get raped and murdered.

And frankly, this really is none of your concern since you dont live here.

  • @borry28 Switzerland also sells surplus military rifles (full auto and three round burst) to its citizens

  • @borry28 The issue with your argument is history. Most European nations come from a long history of gun prevention. Giving arms to the citizenry would allow them to overthrow the monarchy. America has been an armed nation since day 1. It would almost impossible to remove decades of gun accumulation. The only logical thing is have the law abiding citizenry more armed and trained. Criminals would no longer have prey. Your statement was intelligent and factual, but just not realistic.

  • @borry28

"it only looks at 1 side of the story, as if they wanted to proof a point they already had in mind."

    =

Huh...and I'll betcha that you cant see the irony in what you just said.

The ANTI gun agenda does the EXACT SAME THING when they put out any data they create.

The fact is the the CRIMINAL himself has spoken to Stossel and makes it very clear that FELONS DONT CARE...they WILL get a gun anyway and WE MUST be prepared to defend ourselves.

Not that it matters, you dont life here

  • @Excaliburxxxxxx I do believe criminals don't care and that they will go to a lot of trouble to get guns. But if you have guns just about anywhere you make it pretty easy for them to get it. For the statement that it doesn't matter because I don't live in America: Well, you have your nuclear weapons installed in my country, so I better hope to have FREE SPEECH to tell my opinion sir.

  • @borry28

"gun restrictions and indeed a LOT less gun fatalities."

    =

Thats about as dumb as saying "we only got 4 cars in Europe and our auto fatalities are lower than yours"

OF COURSE CAR deaths would be lower if you didnt have cars....but what about KNIFE deaths? What about RAPES.

Tell me that you don't choose a RAPIST living over a RAPED young woman.

    Which is more important to you;

    -protecting rapists

    -protecting women from rapists.

    I bet I can guess.

  • @Excaliburxxxxxx Indeed, if there are less cars, there will probably be less auto fatalities. Sooo? That's my whole point, make sure there are no guns, and you will have less problems. + Is there less raping going on in America then here because you have guns and can protect yourself?

  • no we do not need gun control we need idiot control and gang bangers and parents that need to know your kids will find it and play with it but no on gun control

  • Obviously if you own a gun, you want to go killing everyone.

  • 90% of people you pass on the street aren't criminals... 99% of criminals are armed with deadly weapons...

  • Add wisconsin now we are a cc state

  • holy crap, real reporting. i didn't know the news showed the truth anymore. it's now up to 49 states.

  • SEND REV AL BACK TO AFRICA

  • this guy is my favorite reporter in the world.

  • I'm just going to say this, my opinion (which is a step above whale shit) is that statistics can be made to say anything, in favor, and against gun control. I believe you have the right to do as you please as long as you don't harm another life in the process, I carry and I do it because I have the right to defend myself and my loved ones from anything that could hurt us. I enlisted to defend this and many other rights and I'll continue to do so even if it costs my my life.

  • @LuuJasonUSMC Brother, I found myself thinking the same thing before reading your comment. Thank you for your service.

  • The criminals say it best! They will carry no matter what. Where does that leave us when they come into our home to hurt us? You know you can't bring a knife to a gun fight!!! For Al Sharpton!!!! He needs to take a long walk off a short peir. Let someone walk into his house and try to shoot him, I bet he would change his mined on guns then.

  • Seriously,it is not a gun problem, its a people problem(how come even a 16 year old can understand this?).Guns don't kill, people kill. When children shoot themselves it is bad parenting, when citizens shoot themselves it is a matter of gun safety. Instead of making it so hard to get guns legally, why not just pass laws that actually help and encourage gun safety, responsible parenting etc?

  • It's an unfortunate irony that democracy allows everyone to vote, even ignorant half-wits like the Brady Campaign and the Million Mom March, when the only sure way to keep democracy in check is to be able to resist the government if necessary.

Not to mention, if you can't protect yourself from a common criminal, you won't be able to vote then either.

  • guns don't kill people, people do and kids that find guns and shoot them self is because people don't follow the rules any way so stricter gun control would not work

  • DOES THE CONSTITUTION OFFEND YOU?

    CALL 1-800-LEAVE-THE-USA

  • LOL every state below the mason dixon line has right to carry laws

  • Gun control is great, and I can think of many world-renowned experts who agree with me: Adolf Hitler, Fidel Castro, Gaddafi, Stalin, Idi Amin, Mao, Pol Pot, Barrack Hussein Obama, Kim Jong-il, Mussolini, Hugo Chavez, Mubarak, Ali Khamenei, François Duvalier, Mugabwe, Jean-Claude Duvalier, Alassane Ouattara, Hideki Tojo, etc.

  • "And there are lost more lies, myths, and plenty of stupidity in my new book"

I present to you the most ballsy thing anyone has ever said to promote their product...EVER.

  • Im so proud that my state was one of the yellow states on that map.

  • By the way NYC . We KNOW all about the upstate prisons because that is where i live and where all the crackhead families move to in order to be by their crackhead daddies . They have have destroyed small cities and suburbs of places like Elmira, Auburn and Buffalo. Waterloo and Seneca Falls are going to shit now as well after Romulus max security opened up. You can almost tell just entering a town if they house state inmates or not.

  • @shmodzilla i do despise how every one hears NY they say oh NYC no there is a whole state attached to that and it is much more fascinating than that noisy city

  • @Benweaves

Every time i am more than 2 states away i have to explain this to people. One time i even had a full argument with somebody that insisted NYS was a island. Ugg. I always answer now when somebody ask where i am from . " NYS and NOT the city, because upstate confuses them.

  • @shmodzilla ive given up my fam and i just say buffalo, new York in that order it solves a lot actually

  • shmodzilla: the crack epidemic is over. we are closing prisons in upstate New York that used to house New York City inmates. And the same story has been repeated allover the country. You are indeed clueless. Boy.

  • @blacklight2000

The prison closings have nothing to do with reduced crime .It's consolidating the inmates to reduce debt and cost if you managed to pay any attention at all other than just noticing. And since you are nothing more that a useless douche just trolling this board like 99 percent of gun grabbers say goodbye and grow the hell up. 2 easy simple rules to follow and none of you guys can manage.

  • shmodzilla: The crack epidemic is long gone.Boy. The only crackhead that's left must be you. Boy.

  • @blacklight2000 Crack is long gone? Precisely what city do you live in that it's gone?... And grow the fuck up.

  • Kind of funny the same guys here that brag about having street skills are also the same ones who apparently let guys sneak up and hold a gun to the back of their head.

  • shmodzilla: you obviously don't have a clue how accomplished criminals with guns operate. You don't have any street survival skills to teach me, boy.

  • @blacklight2000

Spoken like a true armchair general except for state side. Yea that's what the streets are full of, accomplished criminals, not crack heads, thugs and so on. I'm not "boy" to anyone but my father regardless of what your inner city trash talk is.

  • shmodzilla: if a perp carries a gun, that gun will be pointed at your head. to force compliance on your part. Are you witless?

  • @blacklight2000

You need to stop basing criminal activity on cheap 1970's crime movies .

  • beausdad: I moved to New York City at a time when the rents were cheap, and human life was even cheaper. I am still around. There were a few times when I was scared, as when I stood in the way of a guy with a baseball bat who was about to hunt down another. Or the time I blocked a taxi driver with a lead pipe from going after another driver. I am a liberal, and I don't let fear run my life. Cowboy.

  • The odds these guys want to play make me think of people that don't wear a seat belt because it might drown them if they crash into a river or the bikers that won't wear a helmet because this one time their friends brother heard from a guy in line at the store about a guy who had a helmet on and broke his neck in a crash. Never mind his head hit a tree at 130 mph but it was the helmets fault in their mind.

  • beausdad: we receive two million visitors from all over the world and all over the country every year. You won't be missed. Cowboy.

  • beausdad: stay away from New York City - we don't need vigilantes. we don't need cowboys. we don't need idiots with guns who think they are smarter, more capable ,more respectful of Constitutional rights and more professional than our law enforcement. If somebody has a gun at your head and your gun is in your holster, you don't even have one second. Go play cowboys and Indians elsewhere.

  • @blacklight2000 I have no intention of visiting that cesspool. I respect your law enforcement. They have to deal with the scum of the earth. No disrespect to them, they do the best they can. I am no idiot as you imply. I am however more respectful if the Constitution than your mayor and as far as smarter, I've nothing to prove to you. As far as the gun to my head, you don't know me or what I am capable of. If you can't respect my rights then I will show you no respect.

  • @blacklight2000 I am no vigilante. I will defend myself and my family. When your in trouble call your police. They can fill out the report and call the Medical Examiner to pick you up. I'd rather bet my life on me. I'll at least have a chance to defend myself, you will not have that because you choose not to. That's your decision, a choice, your choice. I will stay away from NYC. Maybe you shouldn't leave there, it's a scary world out here for you liberals.

  • @blacklight2000

Yea lets both be in that situation, i'll go for my gun and you go for your cell phone lets see who makes it. So still dwelling on that 1 in a million chance situation of a perp just magically standing there with a gun to your head huh? Like criminals never carry a knife, bat, hands? The 18,000 burglaries never happen, the 27000 assaults? We don't consider ourselves more respectful of our rights we just choose to keep them. If you want to give them up so quick by all means

  • @Trashcanstudiosinc The current instant check system was written with the help of the NRA. We are no against the instant check. We are against anything that hinders law abiding citizens from their RIGHT to keep and bear arms. Waiting periods are unacceptable because they do hinder that right. Just as you have the right to speak out on this little forum, I have the right to keep and bear arms. If you don't agree, you are neither a gun enthusiast, nor are you passionate about guns.

  • 100% of the people you pass on the street has a deadly weapon several actually your mind your hands your body

  • TheCaferocker: as long as you abide by your local, state and Federal laws, you keep track of your guns and report them as lost or stolen when they are lost or stolen and your guns don't end up illegally in New York State, I have zero interest in your gun collection. If you want to play vigilante, I would take exception to that but that's because you want to play vigilante not because you have a gun collection.Self-defense and the defense of your loved ones is OK. Playing vigilante is not.

  • @blacklight2000 TheCaferocker never said anything about being a vigilante. He said defend himself. For the record, they need some legal concealed carry in NYC, to defend some of the people who are attacked by hoods and gang bangers and the police can't be there to protect them. When seconds count the police are minutes away. Most police do the best job they can, but is't tough to be where the crime is being committed all the time. Defend yourself and your family. Don't depend on others.

  • Why do I carry a gun??? Because I cant carry a 220lb cop DUHHHH!!!

  • DBSOC: New York City has some of the toughest gun laws in the country, and it is the safest large city in the country - we actually enforce our laws around here. Armed idiots are still idiots. Being armed won't do you any good, if someone has the drop on you - If I were to mug you, I'd make sure that I have the drop on you. I can take your eyes out before you can take your gun out of your holster. And I can stab and disembowel you with a knife before you can take your gun out of your purse.

  • the government should just ban selling guns to the public :(

  • @TheFucker55 Now there is a moronic statement. Read the Bill of RIGHTS.

  • @beausdad11 wats the bill of rigths????

    (i dont live in america)

  • @TheFucker55 The Bill of Rights is a part of our Constitution that was laid out by our For Fathers, to guarantee that the government left our God given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The Second Amendment guarantees the right to keep and bear arms, to individual citizens to defend the country against tyranny and invasion, by allowing the whole populous to be a militia. Do a search for US Constitution. It's a good read.

  • @TheFucker55 No offense by the moronic statement comment. Sometimes a person makes assumptions the shouldn't. I made the assumption you were from the USA, and were just trying to stir up trouble. My apologies.

  • @beausdad11 lol im asian

(im a pinoy and we also go to USA in our summertime :)

    i like it there

  • @TheFucker55

They were amendments added to the constitution after to guarantee individual freedoms. The freedom of press, speech , right to bear arms and so on are included.

  • Dumb people always thinking the government can protect every individual out there...

  • @mrthink777 Yeah even though the Supreme Court has rule that it is not the individual that must be protected, just society as a whole.

  • WASHINGTON, June 27 - The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm.. Yup i remember that

  • that was 2005 by the way..

  • @blacklight2000 Christ here we go again. You are taking ONE extreme scenario and basing the whole view on it. Stop watching so many movies. Beyond the doubtful situation you described who says a threat even needs to be armed at all? A unarmed guy threatening me,family or whoever is STILL a threat, What i'm suppose to play fair and asses he may not be able to hurt me hand to hand? No way. Knives, a bat, 2 or more guys, all trumped when you draw your firearm. And it happens WELL before they know,

  • @blacklight2000

Haha oops i mean assess... Thats a fun typo right there

  • @blacklight2000 In general criminals will not go after an armed vic unless it's a personal thing between them. They are not going to risk an armed vic for a small possible pay off. An armed vic is dangerous. They will turn to theft by stealth or fraud. It is pretty clear in the stats. When an area bans guns crime against people go up.(its less risky) In areas with high gun ownership there are fewer crimes against people & more property crimes. It's simple Kohen & Felson suitable target theory.

  • @blacklight2000 Hey buddy I'm a big time gun collector and I cant just say I believe in my rights to own guns but love the fact that I have these rights I grew up with guns all around me and was tought how to respect them and take care of them. And one thing I just cant understand is why people like you are so aginst people like us please answer me as if we were talking in person (with some respect please), and if you have any questions for me please ask I'll be more than happy to answer them.

  • guns are bad! and so are knives and minorities and frying pans and automobiles! bad bad! ban everything!

  • @eadad Frying Pans? What the fuck will I cook with?

  • @MrBarri13 it doenst matter. you have to go hungry now becuase they are dangerouis no one should be able to own them sorry.

  • Shmodzilla, the better argument against saying other countries "crime stats," is an outright lie.

Most other government don't even release such statistics, and the UK actually has higher crime rates than the US.

  • @FascistWatch of course the UK crime rate is higher... they have WAY too many laws out there restricting it's ppl...

  • Comments posted that are trash with no added discusion value will be deleted, lol use your spell check is that any value, I love people who go on the internet and post or write something then wanna control how you feel or what you say. (comment) what a joke really don't you like your freedom what if you posted your comment or video etc... and the police just deleted it cause they did't like it wow how stupid can you be..Is that your video footage or did you steel it give me a break cry baby's

  • @lug419 Better yet are the people who flex their net muscle saying crap they would never say in person.Whats even more funny is insulting trolls trying to slams someones typing with horrible grammar. We use periods to end sentences here. Then we start them again with capital letters. We also never start a sentence with and. It is also STEAL not steel. Again, people self owning themselves makes life so easy. The rules are simple and to keep the board on discussion that is all.

  • Biggest myth of all: Fluorine compounds reduce tooth decay.

  • 3:55 Time for quick exit.....and a change of underwear...

  • "Could you imagine, walking up and down the streets knowing that 90% of the people you pass has a deadly weapon, and that you could be their next target?" First off, if everyone was armed with a pistol, I somehow doubt anyone would pull any shit. And second, people who lawfully carry a firearm, concealed or open, are some of the safest people to be around. Unless of course, random act of god causes their weapon to discharge, but that's a 1 in a billion chance. And I'm comfortable with that.

  • @apoco Love this part

First off, if everyone was armed with a pistol, I somehow doubt anyone would pull any shit.

Deterence (I know, spelling), it's like the superpowers of the world having nukes to destroy the world several times over. Nobody's going to use one since they know they'll be vaporized by other countries. Same thing with guns. If you knew everyone had one, you'd be a lot less likely to mug them or break into their home.

  • The only gun control that will work is to make guns only work with the legal owner. Like an RFID chip in the hands linked to the gun or fingerprint reader on the trigger.

  • @junekentucky Stiffer penalties for using illegal/stolen guns in the commission of another crime.. such as hard labor or even capital punlishment.

  • @junekentucky Wow this is the most retarded thing I've ever read.

  • @schaibaa In what way? Gun laws won't stop those who really want to have them (criminals) nor protect unarmed people from people who have them (criminals). But having your own gun, that will protect you.

Wish I knew who said it first, "When seconds count, police are only minutes away."

  • @junekentucky your 100% right about the criminals. what makes people think that criminals wont be able to get their hands on guns if they r illegal, what makes them think that they can get their hands on drugs, etc, but not guns, bunch of idiots, the first thing im doing when i turn 21 is getting a carry permit cus thats the best defense, dont have to dial and number and wait on cops who would just find me dead and robbed

  • @iloveforeigncars Exactly and they have several laws that are supposed to block felons from even carrying a gun but they still get caught carrying guns.

Laws only control law abiding citizens. They do nothing to those that ignore the law.

  • @junekentucky Makes no sense. Then if I want to teach my kid or spouse or anyone else to shoot, I can't. Plan is impossible to make work. Just enforce the laws we have and keep the criminals locked up. Don't plea the charges down and let them walk off scott free.

  • Guns only control law abiding citizens.

  • seems pretty honest..for 20/20.

  • during the western expansion it was actually more peaceful than today cuz every body ad a gun cuz u dont want to mess with a person with a gun so i support the right to bear arms

  • Gun control works in England. Their crime rate is DROPPING.

  • @DiegoValadez1771

Honestly believe all this has to do with is gun control? Drop 20 million illegal immigrants in there and see what happens.

  • @DiegoValadez1771

    Uh, no, it isn't.

    It's on the rise.

And, what do you know, violent crime is at an all time low in the States, and gun ownership is at an all time high.

Surely there can't be any correlation there.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 '.. Gun control works in England. Their crime rate is dropping ..'

That's not true. In 2009, a European Commission/United Nations study revealed that Britain's violent crime rates are now worse than any other country in the EU, and even worse than the United States. During period reviewed, the UK had 1,158,957 violent crimes or 2034 offenses per 100,000 residents. The United States had just 466 offenses per 100,000. Search for "most violent country in Europe."

  • @DiegoValadez1771 Gun control doesn't work in England. Right now the citizens, I mean subjects, of England would love to have some guns to protect themselves from all these idiots rioting. People get hurt or killed and mo defense. Shoot a few and they will STOP the rioting and acting like morons.

  • Stupid Right wing gun nut conservative republican douche bag. Gun control WORKS and DISARMS criminals. If guns are illegal, nobody will have them anymore. BAN GUNS AND STOP THESE DISGUSTING RED NECK RIGHT WING REPUBLICANS.

  • @DiegoValadez1771

So NO democrats own guns? And yet again democrat or republican we all have the constitutional right either way.

  • @DiegoValadez1771

"If guns are illegal, nobody will have them anymore."

    Sure. . . just like illegal drugs. . . .

I'm glad that you aren't on the US Supreme Court.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 go see a shrink

  • @DiegoValadez1771 Well lets look at the statistics. 38000 dead by guns . half are suicides. idk what you have a suicidal person doesnt need a gun. then look at the opposite fact. 800000 to 2.5 MILLION either SAVED by guns or stopped crimes with guns. suck that statistic.

  • @FatalParalax

38000 being peak crime 20+ years ago when gun laws were at their most strict levels. Its more in the 30k average now

  • @shmodzilla even more to my point. thanks.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 why dont you watch the video and see the facts. if youve never grew up with them then you dont know what your talking about. your made afraid by the media who shows you only one sideof the equation.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 how in the hell does it stop a CRIMINAL...(listen to yourself) from getting guns by putting up a law he could give two shiny shits about? thats like banning cars because they kill people. What you're saying is ignorant....yet you call all of us ignorant. Yes i am from Texas. No i'm not a redneck nor a hick nor a hill billy, but i do love me guns.

p.s. we should ban meth! that shits getting out of control! if we ban meth surely there won't be any on the streets anymore!

  • @shotgunn9

Meth has definitely refueled crime no doubt. How anyone can even touch that garbage is beyond me.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 Are you serious? Disarm the criminals? Did you not hear what the prisoners said in this video? They don't care if there are gun laws preventing people from buying guns. They will get one anyway. Other countries that have banned guns still have gun crimes. Gun control only disarms the innocent.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 hmmm this says otherways. watch?v=j_YTM_eAWnQ&feature=related

  • @DiegoValadez1771 You are such an idiot it's unbelievable. You do not deserve to walk this earth.

  • @HunterBeier i read that wrong anyway read the rules next time.

  • @DiegoValadez1771 Go away

  • @DiegoValadez1771 What an anti-american MORON! Enough said!

  • JOhn stossel NRA thank you for as long time memeber and for ur well noticed service, this contribution as a whole will keep the americans puzzzeld over gun controll issues.

  • DerSchlickmeister: "Don't tell me that this bill will not make a difference. That is not true...." I would love to see to see him interviewed now and marvel at the spontaneous bullshit he could produce when the interviewer points out the ineffective piece of shit he put his John Hancock on. Slimy fucker.

  • 60 people got shot trying to rob, rape or murder someone else who was armed...

  • Firearm = Great equlizer

  • Yeah the only way to lower gun crimes is to literally cut all gun intake into the country including illegal (next to impossible now)

  • he said they were afraid of another american as if the crimminal was an american .i am an american i am not a criminal .i know the law is fuck up but a felon should have taken an americans righth away when they commit a felony . giving up their rights by taking somone elses away .by the way a crime has a person as a victem that can testify against .drugcrimes aren't crimes because there is no victum.and the people can't proov any damages

  • THIS IS AN INTELLIGENT, WELL-PREPARED AND TRUE STORY. TO BE HONEST, I NEVER EXPECTED TO SEE ANYTHING LIKE THIS FROM ANY MAJOR MEDIA.

  • Is Sharpton really that stupid or merely another media hustler?

  • @Gmissile

My vote goes to a little of both

  • @Gmissile - Neither. He's genuinely scared that a big part of his fan base will be blown away.

  • the illegal assault rifle and misc handgun ban in CA has been in place now for what 20 years or so....have gun crimes, suicide, or accidental deaths from guns gone down at all? No. does anyone want to class action sue this crappy state with me?

  • @DontTreadOnMe85

Not only that, where was that "flood of uzi's" and crime that was supposed to take place 5 years ago now according to Rosie O'donnell??? Nothing, not a peep because they were completely wrong

I'm in NY so i feel your pain man

  • @shmodzilla o god ...NY the one place in the country i can actually look at and feel sorry for...i want to move to a free state like AZ or NV...but easier said than done :) stay positive brother

  • @shmodzilla its sad what we as americans have to go through every day as our government starts to resemble that of britain as they ludicrously call themselves "liberals" gun control, is citizen control, not criminal control.

  • Mr Jackson needs to walk down the street in LA. 90% of the people on the street have guns, not a damn one was registered.

  • This video just reminded me of something. In either 1st or second grade(or earlier)we were told to draw pictures, I forget what of. I decided with my simple and whimsical mind to draw a tank with a flag in the barrel, and peace signs floating around as a solute to armed forces fighting for peace. I was told I couldn't draw it because it had a weapon in it. Looking back it seems more like a visual of the hope of the end of all wars, only possible to be visualized by a child or an optimist. Sad.

  • its awsome that John Stossel used to be for more gun control, and with research and an open mind he was able to overcome that defficiency... I wish everyone in this country would watch this Vid...

  • If I was passing on the street and knew that 90% of people around me carry guns I would feel incredibly safe mr. Jackson. The person who wants to harm me, will harm me regardless if the good citizens around me carry concealed weapons or not. But if 9 out of 10 people around me carry guns, the person who wants to harm me might think twice, knowing 9 people around me can pull out guns ON HIM.

  • @Zamolxes77 IT's Rev. Al sharpton

  • the statistics for gun violence in America are coming from the GIANT gang wars in NY and L.A and cities all around America they don't really apply to legal gun owners,of course we have a high rate of gun related crimes we have a full blown war going on in the streets guns are imported and sold illegally and used by the estimated 2 million gang members responsible for more then 80% of crimes in communities across the nation,CA and NY have the toughest gun laws and there the places with gun crime

  • God bless the woman @ 4:00

  • As full of shit as Al Sharpton is!? Hell ya he don't won't no body carrying guns! lol! His ppl will gun him down!

  • Goddammit California! Coming from a Californian, why hasn't Sacramento gotten the message?

  • Their were no white criminals in the New Jersey jail they could have included in the interview? Only Black males buy and use guns illegally? Hmm.............

  • @brainnopain In the prison community you must belong to one clique or another and they tend not to do well in close proximity to each other. This group is probably just the one that got the go ahead to talk to the crew.

  • @gape2011

and let me guess, the government was behind the WTC attacks

  • @shmodzilla Yes.

  • @gape2011 Your foil hat slipped off.

  • @MIT1369 You got that right!

  • @gape2011 No, the NEA, La Raza, Mecha, ACLU, MoveOn, Daily Kos, Huffington Post, every major college, every major newspaper, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC are.

  • The 2nd amendment was put in place to protect the citizens from the government! And shall not be infringed!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @austrain

Population of U.S.: 311,240,000 (at last check)

    Self defense uses: 700,000

    1,000,000 > 700,000

    The U.S. has multiple millions.

    Sounds about right to me.
