@LendMeYourHand I didn't join the USMC to join war. I joined in 2000 and nothing was going on. I was in Okinawa on 9/11 on gaurd waiting for my 4 years to be up so I can get my college paid for. Joining the military offered me a chance to see the world, get good benefits and good retirement. True there are people who look for the opportunity to experience combat, but to assume that is the only reason why people join the Marine Corps is absurd. Get over yourselves.

Joining the military offered me a chance to see the world, get good benefits and good retirement. True there are people who look for the opportunity to experience combat, but to assume that is the only reason why people join the Marine Corps is absurd. Get over yourselves.

@DOUCHEBAGSTOOKMYNAME It seems the only reason your calling this woman a communist is because she didnt agree with the war on iraq. Based on that reasoning i guess then all the people that were protesting against military action against Iraq are communists right?? I highly doubt this person is a communist she just doesnt agree with all the lies from the bush administration thats called having a free mind, not communist by any standards

@TheRevolutionCanada Not... at... all. You must not have read my post. She admitted herself that she was a communist. I don't know where the interview or speech is, but I've seen her, Sunsara Taylor, admit that she was a communist.
Maybe I misheard her, or took it the wrong way, but I am 99.9% sure she said something along those lines. The fact that she's a communist has nothing to do with this interview, i was merely making a joke.

@DOUCHEBAGSTOOKMYNAME I dont think anyone would admit they are a communist, what she is saying has nothing to do with communism it has everything to do with doing the right thing and the right thing is speaking out against an illegal war of aggression.

@TheRevolutionCanada I know that, but she is a communist, look up "Communists on fox news" and she's one of the two communists that they asked to be on the show. I never said it had anything to do with the video or her opinion of the war, I just made a joke because her and most of the members of her organization are outspoken communists. Why would they not want to admit they are communists? this is America after all and they do have the freedom of speech, even if they support a failed ideology.

@DOUCHEBAGSTOOKMYNAME well if communism is a failed ideology how do you explain the success china is enjoying right now, within 10 years their economy will be bigger than the united states economy I would consider that a success not a failure.

@TheRevolutionCanada China is the only communist state in which the idealogy fares well. What happened to the Soviet Union? What's wrong with North Korea?
What I mean by a failed ideaology, is that it may not fail everywhere, but if applied to a country, such as the US, it would indeed fail, hypothetically speaking of course. When you take away private property, wage/salary, and divide it up, In most cases other than China's, most people recieve less than what they have already had

@DOUCHEBAGSTOOKMYNAME The reason it worked so well in China, was because poverty dominated the region, and when everything was shared in the socililization of property, wealth, etc. The people benefited quite well because everyone was so bad off anyways.

@DOUCHEBAGSTOOKMYNAME Well in a way communism is already been applied to the U.S by instituting the federal reserve system which is a private central bank (central banking) which is one of the benchmarks of the communist manifesto, also by instituting a graduated income tax is also a benchmark of the communist manifesto. Im not just saying the U.S but Engalnd, Germany, Italy, Canada have one the main things in the communist manifesto that runs the government

@TheRevolutionCanada Okay. I'm going to break this down, since you still don't see the point I'm making. 1. I watch all three major news channels, So trust me, I don't fall for any "bias" which, MSNBC has the worst of. 2. Fox news did a segment on communists in America, and they asked two communist party members to appear on the show, Sunsara Taylor was one of them WITH A COMMUNIST SHIRT ON.

Fox news found out that she was a communist, and asked her to be on the show and represent her political party, now if she were not truely a communist, she would've turned them down, and said I am no communist. but she did not. It wasn't that fox news said "SHES A DIRTY RED COMMIE", no, thats not the case at all, they asked her to come on the show and represent her political party, and she obliged, therefore identifiying herself as a communist.
