At my school (middle n highschool) they make us buy all of our books. Good thing tho is that u can buy them second hand which isnt too expensive, and u can resell them after. What sucks tho is every year my parents hav to buy hundreds of dollars of books. Y cant textbooks be electronisized and put on ipads
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING PEOPLE WILL COLLEGE AND EVERYTHING! YOU'RE AMAZING! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH YOU HELPED ME! :) :) :) so...THANK YOU. can't really show thankful i am better than in caps lock lol!
I was so close to actually buying the textbooks for my classes, but then I realised that my professors actually scanned the relevant chapters of different textbooks and uploaded them on to a resources space for us. I'm so glad that I waited now, because anything that they dont upload (which is very little) I can borrow from the library :)
I generally search for my books on bigwords.com, which let's me compare prices and look them up on scribd, where I have been able to find some books for free. Sometimes I wait and see if my techer let's us use older editions
@cre8ivepraise94 I'm a double major. Early Childhood Education and Communications (my concentration in that major is Advertising and Promotions) and I'm a psychology minor because I already took a ton of psych classes haha.. phew that was long.
when do you usually buy your text books? before the class starts or like the first few days? bc im just worried about buying online then waiting for it to ship...
@ohsooashley If I look up the professor and they're good and the class fits perfect in my schedule, then I know I'll most likely stay in the class so I'll order the book beforehand.. if I'm iffy whether or not I'll stay in the class then I decide after the first class. :) But just explain to your professor that you were unable to get the book in time and they may have an extra copy you can use :)
Half the time you cant download the books on the kindle or ipad because there isnt a digital version. I tried it because i have the kindle program for pc. :) Nice vid.
