most of these comments on here was ignorant, I can do tricks on anything with wheels, but any true flatlander is gonna have a flatland bike setup, and in 16 years of riding flatland I only go better from going through oldschool tricks, and I have never paid more had 350 for a flatland frame!,including custom paint jobs!
1:10 where he sets it upside down and picks it up on the other end to go back into a manual is fucking nuts dude. Never seen that done before. And as far as the argument goes . . . Yes there is such thing as a flatland frame and no you dont have to be on one to pull a decent trick. People can be good at flatland on a street frame . . . The purpose behind a flatland frame is just to make it easier than on say a street frame.
ive never seen anybody ride flat.everybody skates and does ramps thats it.i think cuz it so freakin hard.i think it takes balls to do ramps and stuff but the tricks dont look that difficult.you have to balance on that one wheel the whole time doin flat.really difficult.
no such thing as a fucking flatland frame. a frames a frame. check most flatlanders use a classic frame shape. my bike has a "flatland" shape and it's not even supposed to be that type. what makes flatland is the rider, not the bike
What makes BMX is the rider, not the bike they ride.
This guy's right, don't understand why he kept gettin thumbs down, I ride a Free Agent Air Raid, not flatland by any means...and my flatland buddy can get pretty down on it...
and that is not true at all. what is a classic shape? no pro or even serious flatland rider is without a nice flatland frame a lot of the flatland frames have the common v shape but they are very different then a street frame
Flatland frames have different geometry designed to keep the bike balanced and maneuverable. Different head angles, shorter and smaller rear triangles and top tubes designed for foot clearance while the bike is upright.
But, true, all the money and gear can't help you if you don't have skills or practice.
yo mongo sorry ha but there is a such thing as flatland frams. i mean ur right about the whole its the rider shit but just go to lik danscomp or some other webstie, thers flate land bikes spacificly made for this stuff
There is a such thing as a flatland frame. Its a frame with specific geometry to make tricks easier.
Just because they call it a "flatland frame" doesn't mean anyone on it is a flatland.
And, most riders don't have a flat specific frame? Lol, sure they don't. Because you see Matthias Dandois and Justin Miller riding a KHE Triple Threat all the time.
damn comparing these guys to the dudes of my days,(1986) god damn these guys are awesome, its almost unbelieveable the speed that they do these tricks with.
man with the ponytail has time machines dailed in. he turbines them one handed, rather outstanding, and the pedal steamrollers were smooth, and was that matt wilhelm at 2:10-2:12?
thats impossible

why does old school suck? what can you do ?
EM101010101 2 years ago
might be "oldskool " which it isnt but it will always look better than wobbling round like a twat to get speed like the " nu skoolers" do .
EM101010101 2 years ago
i didn't say that i was a fan of all the matthias dandois clones, either.
AbberancyDNB 2 years ago
and if you don't think a gut lever is oldschool...
i didn't mean the ENTIRE video was oldschool, but there were some oldschool tricks in there that i wasn't too fond of.
