Then buy insurance including flood and earthquake coverage. Buy the way, I use to live in southern California. What ever happened to the controlled burns? I saw this coming when they stopped those

Well it is stupid to live in the mountains. I wouldn't pay money only for it to be burned or washed away.
Wildfires in the summer.
Mud slides in winter.
But things just amplified due to the huge wildfire & coincidentally the gush of many storms.
