I can imagine those musicians on the stage.. They have surely listened to The Beatles in their youth, and now they are playing on the same stage with PAUL MCCARTNEY. They must be sweating a lot
Lovely Linda on the keys, if only she was still among the living, paul wouldn't have gone through that divorce crap with that slutty cripple. Paul is (along with John) responsible for the pinnacle of pop and rock and every other kind (almost) of music
Frigging youtube put a HEAD AND SHOULDERS add on this. I mean who would put an add on Paul? On B********s would do that excuse me languge. ANd on a brighter note,
@betsydog "Apollo answered his challenge, and they agreed that the winner could do anything he liked to the loser. Apollo won the contest not through just the music, but by a trick. Apollo played the lyre while he was upside down. Marsyas failed to play the pipe in the same position."
@betsydog "A satyr named Marsyas, the son of Olympos, found the discarded pipe and began to play. Soon, Marsyas mastered the pipe and became extraordinary talented with this new instrument. Marsyas became so well known as the aulos player that he became prideful and arrogant. Marsyas had dared to challenge Apollo in a music contest."

I was at this concert at knebworth in England in 1991. I was stationed at an Air Force base there and had to go. I love the Beatles which is why I wanted tp go there in the first place so it was a dream come true.
Thats really cool, scarletspidey5! I mean both about your dad and the concert. I almost saw the building in which John used to live when we went to see Macca's concert in NY (2009) during the summer. But I couldn't bear to see it yet. Maybe next time I'll be ready. Although I did go to the "Imagine" mosaic the day after Paulie's cocert to pay me respects.
Remember when Macca looked cool and didn't dye his hair so it looked like a wig? He looks great here!

The band is doing okay and everything but why are four people singing? Paul can handle it himself, if the original version is any indicator. Oh well!

Wow, what a crowd! He's loved. <3 I love when they sing each other's songs like that. Its so interesting to hear the subtle differences.

Paul McCartney took the blues and turned it on its head with this song. He is a musical rebel.
