i drive a 1984 buick skylark, i removed the catalytic converter, i drive the shit out of it. i idle it for hours and i will never change. fuck this hippie shit

Eco driving should be done by everybody. If we all eco drive, prices of car insurance will also come down and there will be not as many accidents. Too the idiots that think they are 'petrol heads', well I hope you lot will be killed - like AntiEcoCarFan and STRYKARLITE.

GREAT! Drive slower, "piss off" everybody behind you by waisting their time too!, If everybody drives slower and slower, then we all spend more time in our vehicles with the engine running, poluting!
People who drive Eco Cars like to think they're doing thier part, but, in reality they are just thinking of themselves by saving an extra $3.11 a month on fuel costs. Do us all a favor and get off the road... GO RIDE A FUCKING BIKE!!!!!

"Keep revs Down" No. The car will bog down, and struggle, which is actually worse for fuel consumption. Keep the engine in the torque band it should say. Unfortunately, this sort of advice is peddled by people who do not understand cars and driving, and who merely wish to spoil motorist's fun.
Some advice, such as planning far ahead, should be going on anyway to encourage safer driving.

@AlexSpooner2 I agree with you...keep your car in the torque band and never have neutral so that the engine takes energy from the wheels instead from petrol when not giving gas.

If you have an "eco car" then surely this means one can thrash the balls off the car at all times, that's the idea isn't it? That's what my fat mong brother does. He has a prius, has air con on with the windows down, tyres are at 8 psi all round and he leaves it ticking over through the night so it's nice and warm for the kids going to school. He works as a mobile blacksmith so also carries an anvil all the time, uses the Hummer as a track car too, what a cunt.
