Dear (PHSM) I hear what your saying about authenticity,and its true about e-bay ,but as far as the chair goes ,you are right I cannot prove it was signed by George,but I can however show proof of purchase (original order form,bill sent when chair was complete,(almost one year wait) order form requesting his signature,bill of laden shipped from New Hope Penn.,and as for the book,( The Soul of a Tree) I was indeed in his studio in Newhope Penn. on a Sat.Sept. 1987,and George signed the book!

Well if you are sure that he knows that you have one of those chairs that he signed, then that's great; maybe not if you lost it, the police department will give it to him, as it has His name on it.

@stuballs42 Dear Stu., Thanks for your response. I had commented on authenticity. . Not that particular fellow. . It is hard now-a-days to rely on provenance; when medication and electric fuses etc. can be faked, especially for eBay, how can the claim of anyone about anything be readily accepted as true. . I have not said anything about the fellow you quote, only the fact of the authenticity of the various items you propose. . Nice chair. Cheers. from, del-boy.
