Added clarity is great, but it's so small really at the end. I can barely care, frankly I almost like the look of the TV better. I can't believe this isn't talked about more, how overrated HD is. I would never pay extra for an HD signal, not in a million years.
first of all, there is a ton of uncorrectables blocks to ur box because of low signal or Ingress on lines, you have no clue how anything works. Also get a better tv Vizio sucks!!!

Did you schedule a trouble call? 99.9% of problems with picture have to do with cable lines not owned by Time Warner.Onced installed, the wire is the property of the home owner, so if you have crappy wiring, call and have someone fix it.....Once in a blue moon does a box fail....even if it was the box, they'll swap it.
Get satellite who has way more HD channels and MPEG 4. it also cost less. Dish Network give you an HDDVR for free. With Directv you can now get one for free with the NFL Sunday ticket package. Don't let cable sucker you in with their bundle packages. If one goes down you lose them all.

I was a csr for twc until recetly. I can say your problem is very commen. I used to get at least 20 calls a day with the tilling problem. It was frustrating to send tech after tech to a customer's home only to have the problem continue. Unfortunatly management does not seem to want to admit theres a problem. My suggestion? Get Direct Tv. I had it even when I worked for TW.
This is happening to me the Tech person came to my house and basically said the boxes suck and hopefully they fix the problem soon. Anybody can help me fix this time warner is just giving me credits b/c of my problem.
