  • Can any gel colours work? someone told me to use americolour or sugarflair.. but i cant find them but i got some gel colours.. will the colours be bright??

  • @crazymary789 I am so sorry I'm only responding now! I was having internet issues and wasn't able to sign on to YouTube. Thankfully I can now! :) From my experience, any gel food colors will work. I never had any issues with different brand names, I feel like it's all just a preference. :) Thank you for watching and coloring.

  • thanks a lot

  • do u have a cat? btw great video thanx!

  • @bubblefullbabe Thanks so much for watching and for the compliment! :) Yes, I do have a cat hahaha! Why do you ask? :)

  • do you have to use gel food coloring cant you use the other type

  • @sweetgolenstar @sweetgolenstar Of course you can use any type of food coloring :) Gel is recommended, but there is nothing wrong at all with using liquid! Thanks so much for watching! -- Also, so sorry for only replying now. I was having internet issues.

  • @babyjhaevion So sorry for only replying now. I was having internet issues. The best way I've learned is to add cocoa powder. A little bit at a time until it's your desired color. Good luck!

  • thx for posting this video! its very helpful!

  • @littleDevil6101 I am so glad I could help. :) Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.

  • On the black one You should have Putted cocao powder on first so it gets all Dark brown and Then u should have putted the black color on ....

    Just sayin ;))

  • @OiiMWh You're so right! :) I learned that trick a few weeks after I made this video! Great tip! -- Thank you for watching and commenting.

  • thanks for the reply! i made the fondant but now its really hard! any idea of how i can fix it?

  • @milicapricorn123 You're more than welcome :) I'm very glad I could help! Fondant can become hard when it sits. You can try kneading it. It may be very hard at first, but just keep working with it. Eventually it should soften up. Working with fondant makes it pliable. If it is still stubborn after working with it for awhile....add just a little shortening on your hands. IF that still doesn't work, you could try warming up the fondant in a microwave for a few second, but not too long. :)

  • im making marshmallow fondant, after i make it how long can i wait to ad the color

  • @milicapricorn123 You can add food coloring as soon as it's done being made! :) Thanks for watching!

  • Is it possible to mix different gels to make another color for the fondant...i dont have black gel so is there a way i can make gel out of the colors i have already?

  • @bignicks124 Of course you can :) I would prefer to use black gel food coloring, but mixing colors work as well. To Make Black: Mix 3 parts red, 3 parts blue, and 2 parts green :) Good luck!

  • thank you for yr vid' really helps me before i struggle to color it with liquid color and it mess up the texture of my fondant that i end up added more icing sugar but thanks for sharing

  • @kuleilani I am so happy I could help :) Thank you for watching!! :)

  • @cookiemonster1998201 Thank you for commenting :) -- You could use liquid, but the color won't be as vibrant, and it will be difficult to achieve the color you want. Your best bet is to use gel coloring :)

  • wat is the coloring called that you used????

  • @dolphins1509 The colorings I used are: Wiltons Gel food coloring, Wiltons Ready-To-Use Gel Tubes And the last ones are just typical grocery store bought food color. :) I also added links in the description if you'd like to know more information on the products.

Thank you so much for watching.
