  • That's not Philippe Saisse (Philippe is a keyboardist). And this clip can't be from a 1980 David Letterman Show. Letterman's show didn't premiere on NBC until February 1982. So, who's the vibraphonist? Maybe Mike Manieri?

  • @ilovegoodsax Dave had a daytime show on NBC ("The David Letterman Show") from June-October 1980.

  • @WarioBarker88 I knew he had a daytime show before "Late Night" which I think broadcasted out of L.A., but couldn't remember when so thanks for clarifying. However, I still question the vibraphonist being Philippe Saisse.
