Question - the white balancing problem only seems to happen in artificial lighting indoors for me mostly, if I get one of the filters will the color and lighting still be fine in situations I do not usually have problems if the filter is on?
I'm going to try getting one of the color correction filters, I've tried a few filters like polarizing and density filters with my iphone 4 and they haven't corrected the white balance problem at all. It's crazy how terrible the phone is in that regards, in any sort of artificial light it's yellow yellow glare glare!
I think its the same blue plastic found in 3D glasses. I have a filter like the one you have it came with this DVD called Avia. Its a DVD that helps you set the colors on your TV set. Also they sell THX sells Blue glasses just google thx blue glasses
@psychomelody A very good question. I had mine brought over from England because I couldn't find them here. I think there are places that sell them but only in bulk.
@mikikaoru Aw man. Ever since I moved here I've had a hard time finding random film stuff. And when I do, it's way too expensive.
I have an iPhone 4 ordered too and I'm planning on shooting a short film on it as a test, half done completely on the iPhone (editing and everything) and the other half using anything I want, but all shot on the iPhone. So I've been looking for random lenses, filters, and whatnot.
@psychomelody The colour correction filters should be relatively easy to find and will actually do the job better – any medium to large sized camera shop should have them. It's specifically flash gels that I've had difficulty getting.
