HD Install Google Chrome OS (Chromium) with VMWare Workstation on Windows 7 Desktop

When I start it I get a small red box in the upper right corner that says "Unaccelerated graphics". Does anyone know how to fix this?

How to change the resolution of chrome os, i have a 1920x1080 screen but the resolution is only, i think 800x600 please help me

GOOGLE CHROME OS ( Chromium ) is useless.

@edzen07 It was more of a test product for Google. They sent out some free laptops running Chrome OS to developers and journalists last year. I think they were just testing the waters to see if an only-online OS was viable at this time.

can this be done on a netbook? if it already is running windows 7.. would it be worth even running chrome OS?

@itzurboykeith Not worth running Chrome OS at the moment, as it is still in very early beta stages. I don't see a problem with running it on a Netbook, but this video goes over a virtual installation. The virtual drive (VMDK) is suppied, there isn't a standard installation CD/DVD out yet (that I know of).

You need a Google account to log in. This is a "web os" and requires an internet connection to work. Sign up for a GMAIL account, it is quick and free.

Yes you can build it on Linux and then boot it in QEMU.
