Wouldn't you have gone faster as luigi? He seems to jump higher and farther than mario.

@stopstopp Wow, probably. I haven't even been considering using Luigi. I use Mario because I like him a little better and because I'm a rebel, heh (most people use Luigi). But when I record speed videos I should use the faster character.

I could be wrong but it does just look like mario jumps lower than luigi. I don't have this game but watching some speedruns I've seen only one with mario because of a cutscene with luigi that could waste time.

@stopstopp I am pretty sure you are right. I should've used Luigi.

Also, I just learned how the latter portions of this stage can be completed a lot faster; I linked to a video showing it in this video's comments.

I've been trying to find a similar video with the same strategy done but with luigi, but I can't find any. So I don't have any concrete evidence it's just I haven't seen any mario speedruns except one until you made some.
