While this was an amazing game, you have to admit that Colorado got a few lucky breaks. Michigan was a better team than their 8-4 record showed, but the 1994 Colorado team wasn't really that good of a team. They were maybe equal with the 1997 Nittany Lions.
That Colorado team was really good. Only game they lost I think was to Nebraska who was arguably the greatest team ever in the history of college football. Well folks! The Buffs finished 6-7 and went to a bowl in 2007. And, there are definitely signs that Hawkins is going to do great things. I think the Buffs might very well win 8 or more games in 2008. Why? Because it will be his third season.
