i was there, deftones are one of my favourite fucking bands of all time, and offspring, and the crowd was shit generally for both. However i was lucky enough to find a bunch of the croawd who shared my passions for two of the best bands at the festival, and we went fuckin nuts! xD

i'm a teenager, and yes, i don't like my generation and i ain't just saying that to jump on a bandwagon, reading is starting to become shitter...

My best band of the weekend at Leeds, rocking my one love for Chi t-shirt...and what happened i got stuck between a group of 30STM followers and an MCR cult. I could not give a flying fuck about those bands..albeit they may be good live and make great records for the masses but these guys defined a nu metal generation...they are the band that true music lovers appreciate.

I watched them at shep bush the evening before. I had to catch the train from clapham to reading on my way back, the train was absolutely rammed to full capacity with kids going to reading. Looking around me I thought how much the deftones will be lost on them, shame really. I wouldn't begrudge their generation having their own music to identify with though, deftones were mine growing up, they can have mcr. I still feel better off with deftones though ;)

Leeds & Reading are turning too indie & full of underaged posh KIDS!!!! AGGGGR. I was at leeds and couldnt get anywhere near to the front to rock out with them because of all the 14yr old, day ticket kids whod come to see 30stm & mcr. Made me so mad, felt awful for the guys when everyone was just stood about, they got such a crap reception but deserved so much more!!

I have worked the main stage securit for the last 5 years...and as far as the crowd goes this year was the worst...just a bunch of rich posh kids who didnt have a clue...Reading is loosing its edge....the Deftones are one of my top 3 bands and are always awesome live.
