@TheSkrtel37 I'm a HUUUUUUUUGE Gangstarr fan but I personally never considered them Jazzy hip hop. Guru was a lyricist that stuck to his roots and Premier sticks to his layed back smooth beats. 80% of hip hop originating in the early 90's has that type of vibe even though all the rapping styles were different. It's a smooth era which is my favorite. They might sound semi jazzy if you compare them to today's mainstream but that's it. Bitty Bitty Bop and I'm Cool Like Dat were more jazzy I THINK.

@miggs80 Whilst GangStarr (Prem & Guru) definitely didn't have jazzy rhythms, Guru's solo albums - Jazzmatazz Vol 1-4 definitely did..
