Thank you for sharing your valueable experience in Vipassana Meditation. However, I am an Asian and not too good in listening English. It would be helpful if Egnlish English Sub-titles is added. If it is too troublesome, you can simply ignore my suggestion. Metta.
wow.. thanks for posting bro.. I recently did a 10 day vipasanna course in thailand and I know its just the beginning for me ... peace and love ! Cherry x
Thanks for sharing bro, I'm sure you've helped a lot of people. I've just finished my 2nd retreat (in Japan), and as an ex-infantryman who's trained in the jungles of Kenya, I can honestly say that the first 2 days of the course were the hardest things I've ever faced in my life. Just one question: I've had the same OBE as you described and also something that looks like a chakra opening (a rush of energy from the solar plexus to the head) - where did you find the terminology u used?
@mycal64 Hello brother, the Nibbanic Dip you experienced is described as one of the 4 stages of enlightenment. With each Nibbanic dip taking you to the next level...This is described on the net referring to buddha's scriptures. First stage is Sotapanna, ...It is also described beautifully by Goenka on one of his discourses....You can also look these up on the net....peace brother
@vipassanut Cheers mate! I'm just looking into it now, but I'm also discovering lots of stuff from kundalini yoga that describes the exact same phenonema. Interesting stuff!
mate you remind me of me! i am going to my first course in a couple of weeks here in NZ. hope I can experience what you have in my own way. thanks for the video. good stuff.
Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful experience. Not to seek your own mental freedom and spiritual relief from the unknown, but to find the reality within is a grate experience.

I am leaving in the morning for my first course- Thank you for being openly transparent about your experience- I feel somewhat nervous and excited at the same time- but i'm ready- you are a light
Ive felt everything you have explained with out using the Vipassana Meditation. Ive had many OBE, a few body vibrations and many communications with Holy Spirits. Also, Ive had explosions in my mind that have occurred in my dreams/ lucid dreams whatever. I was intro 2 it as just the 10 day meditation & when I did it myself I find it to have a deep peaceful awaking as well. others will find it very difficult. I see the truth and am not afraid to point it out- normal people hate me for this =]
thanks a lot for this video, I think it helps me to get over my vipassana anxiety. I did a 10 day coarse in December 2009 but I quit in the evening of the 5th day. I had lots of paranoid thoughts in my mind. I didn't feel safe there all on my own. But I'm still proud I did it cause it was the first thing in my life I really wanted to do just for myself. I'm not really a person who likes to take on big challenges. I hope in the near future to do it again and keep it up for the full 10 days.
@linguafranca86 I hope that after such a short time, that you were able to understand what Vipassana is doing for you. If you had any benefit from those 5 days I hope that it motivates you to continue to meditate daily because that's when you will REALLY benefit....peace brother and I hope that you allow Vipassana to change your life....
thanks for all your videoas man, almost all of my questions are answered, i also have heard and can logically believe that spirituality and meterialism are related, is it true? I'm going on my first retreat on the 10th, aug, 2010, hopefully it will remove some of my sankharas...and help me achieve my professional and personal goal...i'm very thankful to you for your videos.
@ankursharma1982 Yes, there is no separation, everything is the same thing, only particles of energy interlinked with each other, as if in constant communication like those fish that all move together in unison. You're very welcome and I am very pleased that you are going to your first course, peace....
can relate to your story man, I now also have a daily practice though it's only been about 5 months. But I know what it's like to struggle with depression & anxiety.
I've never done a vipassana retreat yet, that's something for the near future, I hope
@lhicks1354 It's natural to be apprehensive about doing a course, I am every time, but that's your imagination about future events and the actual experience will most probably be different. It won't be easy but it's definitely, DEFINITELY worth the pain!!!

@RobKashJr Hi Brother, The wonderful thing about Vipassana is not vibrations or OBE, it is the liberation from misery, peace brother.....
