Cool song. "War is terrorism" - When planes were kamikazied into the World Trade Center, an act of terrorism, war on the United States had begun. - Is that what you meant to say Voltronsky?
I have to laugh at every idiot who says "Stop labeling".. Are you that damn stupid you don't know what style you are listening to? These bands take the time to create these different sounds and idiots like you can't comprehend a simple timing pattern.
I'm not even a music major and I know the difference between speed, thrash and doom. It's not rocket science. good freaking grief people. You sound like complete morons.
No brother. I didnt even saw METAL CHURCH alive. I am from Bulgaria. They never visit my country but I love the music from the first album till the last. I realy hope they will be on stage again. Great band.

@BLACKSABBATH0HM It's the FAST killer guitar solos and strong melodic sense, A clear Priest and Maiden influence.... and sure, SABBATH influenced everyone, no exception
I just keep coming back. Not ony because Metal Church is part of my past, but also because whoever did this really felt all the shit thats going on, and did it perfectly. And i will keep coming back, this is epic .
Metal Church is upper echelon most bad-ass bands ever without question I still love it to this day as much as I did when I was 18 yrs old lo just killer
i didnt mean to ofend any one, maybe what i tried to say acording with my english didnt make sense, but i apologise for my coments, i do admire your country, and also i know how embarrasing is my in many senses, i just wanted to say that the band reflected the sadnes and consecuences of war, , i repit ididn want to ofend any body, sorry guys.
GREAT SONG, IS SAD THAT THE AMERICANS BEING SUCH AN ADMIRABLE PEOPLE AND COUNTRY ,HAVE A SIDE THAT RUINS EVERY GOOD THING THEY HAVE CREATED, AND THAT IS THEIR GOVERMENT AND POLITICS, KILLING THEIR OWN PEOPLE AND OTHER PEOPLE...ALSO I AGREE WITH pomc@, HEAVY METAL SAYS THE TRUE, AMAZING SONG FROM METAL CHURCH!!!
@liranegra I guarantee you, whatever country you live in, your government is just as bad as ours. No-one who seeks office has good at heart - they are all power hungry - skin color does not matter, creed does not matter, religion does not matter. They're all equally horrible. Death to all governments everywhere.
@pomc if u believe there IS a god u r a fkn moron! jesus walked on water..coz SHIT floats. i.n.r.i im nailed right in! kill your self n go c your god!!
fuck why are these guys so underrated? ive only been listening to them for a few months but i fucking love em. first song i heard by them was start the fire and i was hooked. ive been going to their church everyday
powerful lyrics this song i should let my vet friends listen to this song eventhough they served in the 1990 i think this song should be in reguards to whatever year the vets served and i didnt forget our current soliders too
i dont think an amazing band( part of today's best on my opinion)like tool needs to still a riff, could sound a little alike though,METAL CHURCH is been for almost 25 years one of my fav bands, his voice is very unique and lyrics are always great!!good tape memories!
Twenty + years ago this was my favorite band, even though my political views lean to the right these days......this still kicks ass!! I guess the Bush part of the video was funny too!!
great album I remember it well. had it on cassette many moons ago, as well as the first album. saw em at sundance years ago, they ripped sht up, very tight band.
I used to jam this in Desert Storm and it has given me awesome memories to hear it agian granted what was done there is of NO equal to what they are talking about .....by the way the gutair at around 2:55 drives me f..ing madd!!!! thanks man for the post
i got this album on its release in early 1987 . to my suprise it was panned by the press and was considered a comercial sell out ( the bands first release on major label elektra).
ok, voltronsky, you obviously haven't heard too much B/P then because it's not all like that and some is actually pretty heavy and rocks. they're one of the few newer bands that i like these days because we don't have the good stuff we used to. maybe i should have been thinking more along the lines of Out in the Fields and Military Man by Phil Lynott and Gary Moore. as much as we might want it, we're never gonna get David Wayne and Phil Lynott back. for me, B/P do cover a small bit of that.
anyone into songs with a message like this might also like "Hunting For Witches" by Bloc Party, another kick-ass band, which is about all the terrorism going on these days. there is mention of the bombs exploding on the 30 bus, and the "90s, optimistic as a teen, now it's terror, airplanes crash into towers".
it's also about the media coverage we get and our reactions to that, with the "witches" in the title referring to muslims, who now seem to be represented by the events of 9/11.
this has always been my fave from this album too, and thank you sooooo much for what you have done with the vid. especially after reading the comment from jahoodunrama - that's the kind of thing that makes the effort worth it.
it's a pity the "powers that be" will never get the message!
good to see though that even these days, so many are still listening and loving it, and especially the young kids. now young kids, get out there and make some of this good shit for us again!
i love this song, but being a non-native english speaker i dont tend to listen to lyrics. but having seen this video i know realize the depth of the song.. its amazing.
voltronsky, thanks for posting this fuckin classic, i love this album, i love this band, unfortunatelly most of people nowadays dont know what real metal is all about, D. Waine rest in peace brother!!

yeh this song has more of an Accept meets Rush tinge, but it was pretty much the only "ballad" on the album.
