@RubyQueen123 Something tells me that if you met a Dobe with natural ears you'd likely think it was a hound and be fine. It happens alot. I wonder if doing some proper breed research and spending time around controlled dogs (at an obedience class for example) would help you feel better. It's important for people with dog fears to learn how to behave properly because running can get you chased and potentially injured. In the end someone's family pet will lose their life because of it.

Just a little tidbit for you einstein. Rear angulation is something that is clearly seen in the clasic Dobe stance, not when the dog is just standing straight. There is no deep tan or Orange, its either Liver or Rust. It just makes you sound like a bigger idiot if you use terminology without knowing what youre talking about. Most of these Dobes are perfect specimens of the breed.

None of those Dobies were of good quality. Markings were missing on most particularly the first and the body's of most were not the right square shape, in most back legs were to long causing the dog to loose the squared look. There was one of two ok looking ones. I love deep orange marking on a Dobermann.

Dobermanns are my number one top dog breed and it's great to see so many people in love with so many beautiful dogs. But, you can go read up the standard for the breed. Most of these Dobes are lacking rear angulation.

I love love love Dobermans, and if someone is really breaking into your home or attacking you, it should be okay THEN for your dog to respond. Actually you would be reinfrcing a "classical conditioning" technique which would negatively associate the leash. Show your dog that you are the leader and he is more inclined to walk to heal.

No, they will fight, a GOOD breeder will always reccomend that you have one of each if you want to have two Dobes. They will fight sooner or later it usually happens around the 12-18month mark.
