About 2 years ago this ship has almost exploded in Rotterdam; becouse some cargo inside (TDI) came in contact with water. As result came a chemical reaction, that increases the volume of the product up to 5 times more in a short amound of time.
It was towed to sea and left there for several days untill the reaction was over.
Hello! Sorry, but I do not know the name of this ship. If it helps, I can tell you that the ship was departing from Quintana Beach near Surfside Texas, almost directly south of Houston. Truthfully, this was a candid shot. I happened to have my camera when I noticed this massive ship was moving through the jetty. Thank you for watching and commenting on my video!
@jetkanji sorry mate it's not on the jewel class.this the innovation class of stolt.it's the stolt innovation same on my 2nd ship when i was on stolt.the STOLT ACHIEVEMENT
I agree! The surfside jetties is a pleasant place to observe and think. And there are always so many humble people fishing! I have always been tempted to climb on top of that one light beacon perch at the very end of one of the jetty (opposite of Zeus). There are no signs saying you can't climb it, and it has a very stable looking ladder...!
Well if there's no sign you can always point that out if someone yells at you *LOL* Maybe if they finally tear down Zeus you'll have an even prettier view. I like taking my kids down there to see the boats and ships go by. It's a great learning tool.
To answer your question, I am sorry, but I am not entirely sure what kind it is or where it is going off to. I just happened to walk up to the jetty and noticed this rather large ship heading out to sea. Still, it was quite a sight!
Cool video, Ive worked the line crew on this ship for years in freeport, good ship good guys.

It's the Stolt Inspiration, built i Fredrikshavn, Denmark 1997, she is 37000 DW, a very nice and good ship.

I like standing on the jetties at Surfside to watch the ships go out. I've seen some big mumbo jumbos, too.
