  • @mishywishylover and you, my friend, are exactly why 'dis people don needs no edumication' these days. Maybe you should exercise the brain a bit, by listening to audio books. You remember your brain, right? The mushy thing killed by drugs. Or half a mushy thing, if your mom and dad are your aunt and uncle.

  • @TheSgarrow85 fuck u

  • Audiobooks - wupload.com/folder/804141

  • Read by F. Murray Abraham? Cool! Always loved him, especially in Amadeus of course.

  • This is a strange voise they should have gotten the ppl in the movie to do there voises so it sound real dont u think yes or no.....

  • @Bradpittlover2011 no the voice is just fine this is how audio books are, most of them, very few have multi voice renditions,

  • Thx for uploading this Elodiron i love this i read the book its amazing and i have the Movie

  • Bled louis what i dont think i remember that part.......What do u mean by bled NearVSmello??

  • I love this Book and the movie I watch and read them every night ....

  • Did they skip the part where the doctor bled Louis?

  • @Elodiron , there is a version read by frank mueller, that is unabridged. its only available on cassette and its infinitely a better version.

  • Aww, is this an abridged version? :< Well, ty anyway :3

  • @Vixlacimaa , yes it is.

  • WARNING! this recording comes to the point just before Claudia is made a vampire and jumps to the point where Louis is in Paris at the Theatre Du Vampire- so don't be disappointed or waste your time

  • I don't really like how many audiobooks are abridged (have chapters missing). Also, voices as soft as this send me to sleep lol

  • It sounds like sideshow bob

  • love this book

  • I'm reading the book and I bought the movie! Its AWESOME and I am really upset that I forgot the book in my locker! :(

    SOME PARTS ARE CUT OUT!

  • I'm reading the book and I bought the movie! Its AWESOME and I am really upset that I forgot the book in my locker! :(

  • it depresses me that twilight is on the suggested videos list -.-

  • fucking awesome

  • finally a good voice

  • howwlllll

  • Is that Kelsey Grammar's voice?

  • can someone upload the film????

  • This is gonna be perfect for killing a few hours at work

  • Wow. I really enjoyed listening to this.I love the different styles of creating audio books. The music is right on point. Great job!

  • Anne Rice's real name is Howard. When she was in kindergarden the teacher asked her name and she said "anne" So even in kindergarden she understood that the name "howard" sucked.

  • @Junior13578 But Howard is a guy's name O_O

  • This was my first and most favourite Anne Rice novel :)

  • LOOL Anne rice is the best author known to man.Or vampire lol.Interview is just....amazingly awsome and sexy to.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • The voice is fine but its hard to keep up in the book since they skip paragraphs at a time :S

  • i read all of anne rice books. they are in a class by there selfs. i never knew there was a audio to this. wonderful.

  • My friend borrowed my copy of Interview with the Vampire and hasn't returned it in a few months, so I'm so glad to hear this! I love this series.

  • @dragonofthedarknight

its a series? so theres a continuation of the first novel. how many series are there? theyre all connected and louis is there??

  • @musicindisguise Yes, it's a whole long story with many different characters, and Louis is in all books or at least mentioned in them because the main character of the series is Lestat. After this book, the next is The Vampire Lestat. Then it's Queen of the Damned, then the Tale of the Body thief. They're all Lestat's books that he, in the series, actually wrote himself.

  • @musicindisguise There are also a few extra books written by other characters. The Vampire Armand, Pandora, there's a few. Look it up on wikipedia. There must be about ten of these books. Personally, the second and third were my favorite.

  • Before I sit down, can anyone tell me if this is the whole book? It seems pretty short to be the 308 page novel I have here.

  • Okay I answered my own question by listening for a minute. RandomHouse Audio should not call this Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. They take their own liberties with the text and miss out large parts of the original.

  • You want to check out the unabridged version, it's far better, the narrator's voice is even cooler

  • @Shofrah where can i find it? thanks

  • You can search on google "Interview with the vampire torrent", if you can't find what you are looking for, add "unabridged" and retry. But first you need to download Bittorrent, a p2p share :-)

  • meh, nothing can beat sitting down and actually reading the book.

  • oh i love random house book, i used to have so many of these audio books, thats i never gave back to the library, oh damn...

  • I like the Vampire Lestat audiobook better ^^. Or maybe it was made later...

  • voies i hate the voies

do you no were i can fine diffunt voies

  • audio book WTF? XDD

  • I don't like his voice for this book.

  • Can someone please put The Vampire Lestat on audio for me..............Thanks

  • Cool!!! All of this just totally rocks, books, movies, all of it!!!! :-D I actually have this book, but I haven't read it yet, I started reading The Vampire Lestat first because I received that book first lol, I couldn't wait ;-) I could read it while listening perhaps, would definitely be great to improve my English, I would have an excuse to be reading all day then ;-) 'Mum, it's for school you know, I have to improve my English!' lol ;-) Thanks for putting this on Youtube! Pls keep it on! :-D

  • awesome audiobook!

  • does anyone have the vampire lestat as an audio book?

  • It's on frostwire.

  • I have Memnoch the Devil and Blood and Gold on iTunes audio.

  • Blood and gold is an awesome book.

  • It most certainly is, but my absolute favorite is Memnoch the Devil. Probably the most intelligent of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. Another good one is Pandora.

  • F. murray Abraham!?!?!? hahaha! -he's the guy that got killed out of the helicopter in scarface

  • the is the abridged version

  • When you buy an audio book, they do not say if it's the abridged version. I've bought many audiobooks in the past, and they never say whether its the abridged version or not. The only way you can tell is by whats written on the screen, with regards to an ipod anyway, as it tells you there...but other than that!

  • I just got the entire unabridged Vampire Chronicles audiobook set ; it's perfect

  • Is the unabridged version still read by F. Murray Abraham?

  • i think if this was the abriged version they would say it right? " interview with the vampire the abriged version"

  • I'm really, really sure there are some bits cut out of this...but it's great anyway. Thank you.

  • Thank you for posting this audio book Elodiron. This is one of my favorite novel of Anne Rice. I didn't even know that they had it in audio. =)~

  • yeah it actually is. Insofar as you know, does any uncut version exist?

  • @Shofrah They just released the complete version a few months ago. If you want to listen to it you have to pay -_-

  • thanks for uploading such a beautiful novel, just a question: i've listened about 1/4 the audio book and i somehow felt some parts have been cut out or am i wrong?

  • thank you ^^

yes its true and i m so sorry! -.-'

but i downloaded it exactly like that..

  • @Shofrah im following it along with the book and so far (3:15 into the story) they've skipped over about a paragraph... but if u meant actual scenes then....most likely

  • @Shofrah Yeah i lisened to the vampire lestat and alot of parts were cut out,idk know why but it cuts out important stuff

  • @Shofrah , youre not wrong- this is the abridged version- thus incomplete.

  • thanks for the upload. i've been looking all over for this one.

  • WOW. After reading this book almost ten times over the last 20 years, and will probably read it dozens more, I now have a chance to hear the audio version. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • great! thank you very much for posting this.

  • Oh my gosh, thank you for posting this! I've been wanting to listen to the audio book for so long, thank you!! :)
