no, thats his hair - freddie had his hair like that for many years, also noting the lack of a tash. he randomly cropped his hair and grew a tash, resulting in fans throwing razor blades on stage etc - ie "shave the tash off"... we grew to like it tho, and the tash and the short hair became the iconic image of freddie - at least in my mind.

How do you mean? He's in perfectly in key, and has a good voice compared to many other artists. He can also work the crowd very well, and keeps everybody energetic. I don't see why you wouldn't like Freddie, there aren't too many better.

We love him because he loved what he was doing and wasn't afraid of showing it, didn't take himself too seriously and sang with emotion and energy. Sure, he could have dressed in black and sang funeral songs, but instead he never changed himself to please others, and as somebody who was bullied for having cancer I found that truly inspirational.
