Concerning the whole "Constitution was written while we still had slaves" stuff; There's a simple response.
The Constitution is "the standard" America set for itself before it was even living up to it itself yet. It has taken years to merge the American reality into the American standard (or ideal), which is even more remarkable than only setting a standard one is already living up to. How often does an individual or group say "this is what we should be" then achieve it... ever.
while i agree with the overall thrust of what you're saying, wasn't the KKK ruled to be an "illegal terrorist organisation" back in the day? if so, i think that nullifies their right to assemble.
@gothatfunk I think the Fed keeps an eye on them but their rights to assemble and freedom of speech are still intact. They are, however, considered a hate group, rightfully so.
one can only ride on the backs of their ancestors abuse for so long.. the writer is definately seperated from that abuse by generations.. if she feels she's abused why not just see if we can fix that, shall we..? tell her we get $195.00 per hour and the couch is optional.. or, maybe you could send her a KJV so she can work it out with the Lord.. justmy2cents..

I don't think banding groups like the KKK,the Black Panthers and skinheads is a good idea they will just go underground and become even more dangers
