But I guess, when Anthony Green was around, Saosin was more post-hardcore (more screamo, double kick pedals). He left because he didn't like the musical direction the band was going... and well, this is what you're seeing.

No, he's just got one of those voices that aren't meant to be used really loudly. I'm sure he's a good singer, or else Saosin would want nothing to do with him. See, he's got to be able to sing very loudly so he can keep up with the volume of the instrumentals. I find it respectable that he's actually able to go up there and sing as loud as he does, because if he was to sing well, chances are it'd be hard to hear him over the powerful riffs and mad drumming.

the volume of the drums, bass, and guitar, have nothing to do with cove's ability to sing in tune though. he's singing into a microphone (a device used to amplify one's voice) and he has in-ear monitors, which means he can hear himself perfectly.

Honestly.. people need to get off of A.G.'s nuts. He was good, yes.
