  • Great memories flooded me as I watched this clip......loved Maude

  • I would have never recognised him !

  • How can i send a message to Bill? i knew him years ago and would like to say hi...

  • Bill Macy His Something For 85 Year-Old Former "Maude" Actor..I'm Not Sure

  • This is so cool. I love Bill Macy too. One of my favorite actors and of course the show "Maude" go's without saying. I love the whole 70's to begin with and the culture, the vintage toys and so on. What a time. Dammit, i wish we could go back to 1973 even for a half hour !!

  • Miss him....kind fellow.

  • Maude, SIT !!

I loved it when he said that to Maude.

Thanks for posting this clip on Mr. Macy -- I always wondered what happened with him after the Maude show ended.

  • Jeez, I thought Bill was dead. He's go to be really, really just old as hell.

  • Bill Macy, you were terrific on Maude!!!

  • he likes em young cuz i think that was his wife.

  • Bill Macy is my gay lover.

  • Okay, now that I've pulled myself together a little I gotta' commend Mr. Macy on his work in television, being a silly guy, smacking machismo in the face, taking on the character of "Walter". I wish I could have seen him STAR in more shows after Maude, as that's what he is, a star!!! I've seen every episode of Maude, practically have them memorized, and what guts it took to take on Maude Findlay in a town called "Tuckahoe"! You are the best and inspire me to want to study acting!! Thanks

  • @jungzanima73 I like what you wrote. I too love the Maude show and Bill Macy. He is a very kind man from what i have heard and researched. He was great when he appeared on the Match Game show too. Do you remember that game show back in the awesome 1970's? Take care and all the best to you. Bob Vander

  • Oh wow! Now I'm manic! It's BIll macy from Maude, holy cow! He's my hero, what a great actor he is. The work he did on Maude was so remarkable!! I'm speechless! If you read this, Wolf, take care! Joe

  • And the lady is Samantha Harper who he met while they were co-starring in Oh! Calcutta and later married.

  • FYI, this is Bill Macy, star of the '70s sitcom "Maude", NOT William H. Macy, husband of Felicity Huffman and a bit younger.
