@winintheflop06 Nice!!! People rag on the 3.8, but overall it's an ok engine. I liked the 4.0 better but with the right mods the 3.8 can be woken up

FACT:Jeep Wrangler is the most know vehicle in the world. FACT: The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is the only off-road vehicle that is convertible. FACT: The Jeep Wrangler was selected 4x4 of the decade. Just go to Google and find the information. This vehicle is great if you go off road. But if you dont plan to go off road ever then you should consider Toyota Rav4, or other vehicles like that.. Wrangler is a vehicle that was mean to have fun and kick ass. But the vehicle spend too gas. deal with it.

FACT: The JEEP Willy from WW2 was a 4 Cyl and had less HP and smaller engine. Still the JEEP was know as the best vehicle from that war. I agree that a Toyota Tacoma or Land Cruiser are good vehicle but nothing come close to the rear deal of the JEEP Wrangler.

@lagartijaloka i go back and forth almost daily on which one i like better too. Probably auto for a daily commuter, and stick for a fun vehicle.

Anybody here has put a performance chip to boost power? any recomendation on a particular brand or product?

i´ve had mine in silver for about 3 months: I love it with the roof off. It´s the best for cool and eye catching but it doesn´t come near toyota in performance. I used to have a land cruiser and that was a mean off roading machine.

Does anybody agree it lacks power in the lower revs or is it me?

I've test drove one and it was a little down on power. However, in 2011, Jeep might put their new Pentastar V6 with 260hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque in the Wrangler. The engine will debut in the Grand Cherokee but will most likely go into the Wrangler as well.

my dad got me a sahara 1 of these for the price of a basic one maybe even less. the only thing is is that its an auto tranny and its more of a "pretty" blue -_- but other than that i love it!

I liked the custom cars across from the jeep area too! The flat black BMW M5 was cool, and i liked the lifted trucks

my 05 is a 6 speed whats the big deal now they have a crappy 3.8 liter van engine

it may only have a 3.8L, but it produces the most horsepower ever in a factory Jeep. This is also the most capable off-roader you can buy. They are more powerful and more capable than any previous models.
