Glad you all enjoyed it. I'd been wanting to do it for a while, so we did it last year & it was kings only. Ironically they marched in time to the music, but the gentoos do look more like Stormtroopers. :) -Barry
Why doesn't this surprise me? Not so much that Barry came up with the idea, but that it actually happened at Edinburgh Zoo! Avalon, 9 of the kings were out on Monday 3rd and Nils was out on his own on Sunday 2nd (and slowed things down quite dramatically!)
@thesimonmcg Thanks, I went on Easter Sunday and the Kings did not come out though. Still love the other little gentoo guys. Sir Nils Olav was out on his own was he? Wish I had seen that :) I believe the Gentoos are buggers for thieving stuff and watch them daily on the penguin cam. Lots of pinching, pecking and pushing going on. Cannot wait until the eggs hatch.
@thesimonmcg It's a shame Sir Nils didn't come out as he could have done the part of 'Vader', lording over his troops. If he had, then we could have referred to him as Lord 'Wader'. ;)
