The way I see it, each region specializes in their own sub-genre of metal. America & Canada seem to have a lot of Deathcore and Metalcore bands (Suicde Silence & As I Lay Dying), Latin America & South America have plenty of Thrash Metal bands to go around (Sepultura & Death Arrangement), and Europe has multi-gazillion Death Metal and Grindcore bands (Benighted & Septycal Gorge).

Fleshgod definately has a more classical feel, and I can definately agree that they somewhat lost there capacity for speed once Mauro left for Fleshgod, but both bands continue to pave the way for tech death, I don't see what the big deal is. There obviously no Necrophagist or Braindrill, but personally I like these guys more, just my opinion. I like real gritty death metal

Hold on guys, wait, now I understand in terms of technicality that this band kicks major fucking ass, nothing against opinionated views, but it is definately not the easiest thing to be able to keep up with 240 bps or however many they have simultaneously been able to expunge, but this band kicks fucking ass in my opinion.
