Cavic actually doesn't swim better than Phelps because he failed at one of the most important aspects: know where you are in the water and stretch your arms near the wall. He didn't sense his opponent and failed to extend when he was near the wall. He made a HUGE tactical error. He will learn from it. So please be respectful of Phelps hard work.
