  • Now show us the python in your pants, badboy! Or should I say cornsnake. Then again, cornsnakes reaches 4ft...

  • MY ball python sometimes has trouble eating would it be okay to help when he is eating

  • i got a ? to ask you all. I had bought a ball python about 3 weeks now and he/she has not eating anything since. I dont know if it is sick or something is wrong with it or what. I've tried numerous times to feed the snake but it does not eat, I've even tried leaving the snake and the pinky in the feeding bin over night and it didn't eat it.

Also another ? how do i get rid of mite's? because i bought the snake with mites from the pet shop not knowing until i got home.

  • @vwjanonomous Well from your story if i put 2 and 2 together it seems your snake is sick because of the mites...check google for answers and treatment or simply go to a vet. Uhm if it eats after the mites are gone then that was your problem but if it still doesnt eat try feeding it something else...something smaller aswell. Keep me updated.

  • I'm selling a 1year old ball python for 100$ with tank hit me up if interested she's really healthy just my mom won't let me keep it

  • can you eat the eggs

  • @shnazynick exactly what i was going to ask lol .

  • Thanks. This video was helpful. I am thinking of getting a pet snake. I didn't know hat to get ball python, corn snake, king snake but I am thinking of getting a ball python after this video. (Need to learn hot to hold a snake. >.<) :P I am thinking of naming it Severus or Salazar. :P

  • @XxawesomemysteryXx Ball pythons are one of the more docile and handable snakes. They do not get that big so they are a good choice. Constrictors get huge and may not be a good choice if you live in a small place or are planing to move long distance. Ball pythons are easy to transport due to their small sizes. Constrictors can get to about 6-8 feet long so they can be a little harder to transport.

  • do reccomend using them heat rocks ?

  • @copburner I have been told that heat rocks are not a good choice for pythons. Stick with a heat pad.

  • you call them pie-thons...

  • what is you ADREES

  • my ball pooped/pee and it was hard when it came out whats wrong

  • Could you book my birthday party?

  • Do you think lllreptiles is a good place were I can buy my ball? And is it ok if I have my baby ball in a 30-35 gallon tank?

  • @kristin02desiree yes it is ive bought three snakes form lllreptile they usaly get there snakes from garrick DeMeyer and he is one of the top snake breeders in the country ive had nothing but good luck with there reptiles and there products and shipping was fast but they also carry a three day warranty so if they were to die from stress from shipping they would send you a new snake just pay shipping and they have the lowest price guarantee

  • what if you dont know any thing about snake could it still be a begginer snake

  • @HOORVT it problably wont kill ur cat due to that the cat has vetter reflexer but you

Schould keep ut snake in a café Thats closet and a room Thats closet so that if it get out u can just search that room and put it back in tje cage.

  • is this kind of snake a danger to other animals if it gets out of the tank? can it hurt or kill my cat?

  • compared to hundreds of snakes, 1/4 is rare.

  • this guy is white trash and its not rare to find one bitey

  • @mcarlson2k1 You think your smart? I've worked with hundreds of ball pythons and only about 1/4 of them were "bitey" so don't talk about stuff that you have no clue about.

  • @Flar452 ok so 1/4 is rare no no no you need to go learn what 1/4 is

  • @mcarlson2k1 lol white trash

  • he only has one tooth lol

  • ok srsly? YOU GUYS ARE SUCH ASSHOLES! Ive researched this stuff then started watching these videos and all his info is right. His was easier to understand too. if you dont like the video then go the fuck away! why be fucking cruel? I like this guy, and because of him ill suscribe!

  • I have a male ball python and he is growing over 4 feet

  • If you learn 1 thing from expert village is that they are NO experts and you will need to Double Check every thing they say before assuming anything they say.

  • what does it mean whe your ball python hisses at you.

  • iw

  • Some of you guys are dumb asses. You try to pick this guy appart and act like your so much smarter. When in reallity he probably knows 10 times what you know about pythons and probably reptiles in generall.

  • these guy is an genus

  • you guys are assholes... simmer down

  • Why is it Americans can't say docile? is it a hard word to pronounce? I don't understand...

  • @SkittleArmageddon Why is it British people can't say 'T' when it's in the middle of a word? Is it a hard letter to enunciate? I don't understand...

  • @jedihunter176 I wasn't having a go, just remarking at the funny differences :)

  • @jedihunter176 Believe me, it's not just Brits. I live in the rocky mountains, and surrounded by rednecks all my life, I've noticed that we tend to uner-enunciate the "t" in many words. I do it too, but it bothers the hell out of me when I notice it

  • thanks

  • how often should i fedd my 5 month old bp? he eats hoppers.

  • every 2 or 3 weeks

  • @goldenstone18 Every 7 days is fine

  • @goldenstone18 Seven days is a fine average, but I plan on feeding mine every 5-6 days to help him reach a breeding size sooner. It's perfectly fine to feed anywhere from every six to eight days, find what works best for you and your BP

  • @goldenstone18

No offense, but that was something you really should have researched before you got the snake. =/

  • my dads ball python is bout 6foot

  • is there suck a thing as a dwarf BP?

  • can you keep ball pythons in perth?

  • My ball python is 5 1/2 feet long

  • stop hating on expert almost al there information is rock soid and has helped me a

    lot

  • thanks i might get 1 now sicne i have the space

  • hey can somone answer please this is important, i have my snake in his tank one side is around 96degrees f and the other is 82 r these ok tempuratures for my ball python if not can u pls tell me what r?

  • @akamaster09 This sounds quite a bit on the warm side to me. I keep my tank about 80 deg. on the cool side with a 90 degree basking area and he does great. The main reason you would want really warm temps. much higher than this would be if your snake is fighting an infection like mouth rot or a respratory infection just to help boost their immune system. Otherwise, with super warm temps all the time, your snake will have a higher metabalism , but you may risk dehydration.

  • can u house them in a 20 gal tank

  • @killer123051 yes but thats if they are a adult, i its a baby keep it in a 10 gallon or else it will feel like its out in the open and will be scared or nervous a lot

  • stop making videos you suck ass i seen ball pythons that are 5 6 feet i have toand they both are 2 and a a half feet and they're only 8 months you you should not even work where you work

  • @junghee1st your out of control sir

  • Comment removed

  • yeaaa rat bites from the " previous owner" plz (scoff)

  • mi ball python is to agresive!

  • @wallace4667 it will calm down as it gets older

  • Could these snakes potentially strangle their owner? I understand no human fatalities have been attritubted to this species, only larger constrictors kept as pets.

  • @heathernashea STUPID! UR LOOKIN AT A BURMESE PYTHON OR SOME OTHER DIFFERENT PYTHON

  • So are they friendly and do they not bite and how much do the normally cost and when they are an adult do you have to give them live mice?

  • Expert village u suck!!

  • @UsA0741 But they do have the best collage degrees. Like this guy, he has a DA in herpatoligy. DA= Dumbass

  • how much to males usually get to weigh

  • A SNAKE IS NOT A "PET"... i fucking hate Expert Failage!

  • @Nalves21

No their not poisonus their constrictors meaning that they suffucate their prey item litteraly squeezing the life out of them :P

  • I have a question, pythons are poisonus?

  • @Nalves21 no

  • Dude got into a bar fight and got his teeth knocked out....I think hes still drunk too, lol. Expert village should be banned from making videos, there are fgoing to be to many people with the wrong info and dead animals.

  • Hitler!.

  • I want one sooo bad but my parents wont let me have one

  • @gunspinner101 dude samething with me my parents wont let me get one but im saving 59 dollars and im going to get one tommorow my parents are going to be pissed but i want one so yeah jst save money

  • @cjlilc35 ok, thx for the advice, but wont you parents kill u if they found out you bought a snake?

  • People he didn't say max... he said average, and thats probably out of the snakes he has owned. Relax.

  • I have a ball python, he is about 5 ft. so they do get a bit bigger than that :)

  • wth this guy is an idiot man, 3-4 feet max???? no. its 4-5 feet or higher. what kind of freaky ass snakes does he own.

  • @50BuBz thats what males average 3-4 feet but thats just the average they can reach 5 or so females average 5 feet and can reach 6 feet

  • What the fuck are you guys talking about? The mans kept reptiles for over 40 years, I think he knows what he's talking about don't you? The people on here are twats. Why call the guy a fat retard and say he doesent know anything. I think your the retards.

  • "They don't get too bitey" hahahaha, what a dumb ass

  • what a retared fat retard

  • @makeyoudie666

What do you do for a living? Not handling snakes? In that case, let me educate you on something. When you do a certain thing to make a living, you usually know a lot about it, more than the average guy.

  • they get like 5-6 feet. lol

  • what size rat would a adult male and female eat.

  • what size rat would a adult male and female eat.

  • If I was to get a snake i'd want a Ball Python...well I do want one but my mom hates snakes =\

  • Why would you not recommend a UTH??? They are much safer than heat lamps! Also, feeding frozen is much safer for all snakes!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't thaw and re-freeze the rodent, then the nutrient load is about the same. I agree that most balls will not take frozen food (mine included), but I wish they would. I've had a few of my snakes get bitten by a rodent WHILE constricting. I feed live from tongs, and they have still managed to make a couple of my snakes bleed.

  • more and more snakes are burrowing down and burning them self's its happening a lot with the Royle's the most it seems. the nutrient count is not really the same, i am not saying it is safe feeding live but it is better for your snake in the long run.

  • under tank heaters are fine, use a thermostat..no problem.

  • lainasboy you obviously know nothing about ball pythons, you can have under tank heaters just not a heater where the snake can come into direct contact with. Also Phythons do eat frozen food it is RECOMMEDED frozen food does not fightr back and cause damage to the snake so please lainasboy,go read a book about ball pythond before you post stupid comments

  • @Raybi3z umm ok yea bro your totally right i know nothing at all, an UTH goes on the bottom most of the time and if not watched will burn your snake. pythons do eat frozen but many do not eat it all they wont even touch it. is it safer for them yes but if they don't eat it you have no choice, i didn't write this to discredit the video even though some of the information was clearly wrong but i was try to help out some beginners so they don't make a lot of the common mistakes

  • Thanx for being an azz tho

  • @lainasboy21808 dont give silly information to people,do you even keep snakes

  • @Raybi3z yea and you wanna talk about silly what kinda question is that

  • @Raybi3z look i dont really care about youtube so you should get a little bit of a life i was just trying to share some information due to the fact that it seemed like there was a lot of younger kids asking question and the video didn't have the rht info in it also people who think they are educated enough sometimes aren't. i

  • im glad you can all use UTH but some beginners don't realize they do get very hot and in glass tanks with minimal bedding could burn if not cook a snakes insides and belly i do have snakes i have had them since i was little all kinds and also work for a reptile store im glad you know your stuff but you took it the wrong way it was meant for the ones who didn't know what they were doing. the video even though it wasn't all rht some of it was but some of the information was a little misleading,

  • i was trying to help some people out so they don't make the mistakes a lot of beginners who aren't informed right make. Holy Crap get over it if you know what your doing then awesome if you don't like what i said leave a small comment but don't sit here and nitpicking me and tell me to go read a book and go on and on

  • That's BS, ball pythons do get bigger then that. I've seen more than my share of 5-6 ft. ball pythons.

  • @heathernashea yeah ur right they grow around 5-6 feet long remember expert village give u the wrong info most of the time so hats really gay just imagine people buyin this snake thinking it wont grow much and turns out to be 6 feet long......E.V. sux

  • @heathernashea shut up queer

  • @OSCAR7893 lol real funny

  • @heathernashea Yep, the females can easily get above 4 feet :) I've got a male and he's about 3.5 feet, but I haven't overfed him like some people do to force growth!

  • @heathernashea how much does it matter for gender in size? And how long does it take to reach full length?

  • @heathernashea females only get 5 - 6 feet thats obviously a male because if u see it has a longer tail tip

  • @heathernashea adults average 3-5 feet.

  • @heathernashea Yes, but they usually don't grow more than 4 feet.

  • @heathernashea probably because the enclosures they have them in are pretty small in pet stores.....do u have one ? :) i would love to hear what u think about them

  • @heathernashea he said "average" which is the largest height minus the minimum!FYI

  • @heathernashea hey dont trash talk my grandfarther he has being keeping theat same ball python for 24 years

  • @heathernashea He didn't say they ALL get to 3 feet. You're always going to have exceptions, but the key to what he said is that THEY AVERAGE ABOUT 3 TO 4 FEET, which is true.

  • hey tim cole my little brother wants to know he s ten and he wants a ball python should he get for his first pet write back soon.

  • if hes responsible enough to give it the care he needs then yeah! ball pythons rock, also corn snakes are great for first snakes :)

  • this guys reallysmart.

  • wear gloves when u try to pick it up and hold it gradually whe you r holding it take off the gloves and do this every day for abut a week and it should actually come into ur hand when you stick ur hand in the tank

  • really?, the glove is the tricky part? :O

  • and btw do you have regius?they are usually not agressive

  • ok well i just got my snake today and it seems like when ever i pick it up it trys to bite me D= like once it actualy got me and it stings.... like how can i get it to stop? i have not abused it or do anything to it... will that go away at a latter age ( it is like a few months old ) or do i got to train it and if so how? because most snakes just crawl up to me and fall asleep in my hand... so what should i do? 0-0

    please reply T-T

  • If you only got it, it may need to just adjust to you, just give it a few days for it to settle down and feel more comfortable.

  • if youve only just gotten the snake ; its probably nervous . IF YOU were moved somewhere u didnt know and a stranger came and spoke to u ; wouldnt you be nervous .

Its the same with a snake whos in a new environment. it should dull down in the next couple of days. and you better hope it dulls down ; if a few month old snake bit u and it stings alot. your going to have some problems if its a fully grown snake

  • it only stung for a second xD and i get it thanks you and everyone else who reply =3 and he only left two small pokes on my finger kinda like if i poked myself with a toothpick x3 so should i just leave it alone and just check on him everynow and then to make sure then tank is warm? or just leave him alone all together?

  • @PlayfullFoxKit i'm not a experienced but i have my ball python..you think it will be tamed in one day..you should put it to terrarium and wait about 2 days to next get on the hands..remember that snake needs minimum 2 hides in terra to feel safely..if snake will be agressive about month later put fragment of your clothing to one of teh snake's hide..may be he will associate your smell with safety

  • well thanks but where doing fine now ive been watching him alot and been putting my hands by his tank so he gets used to me and today he even crawled next to my hand and let me pet him ^^

  • great advice!!!

  • what do u mean by terrarium

  • a terrarium is an inclosure for the snake. think of it as an aquarium for a fish dumbass

  • @smokedfrog360 Before you call someone a "dumbass" check your spelling its enclosure

  • @PlayfullFoxKit

Baby balls can be a bit feisty. The best thing you can do is keep handling it. Take a shirt that you have worn for a long time and put it on top the cage so it gets used to your scent. Then only give it small amounts of attention daily (like a couple seconds) , and increase the time you handle every day. Check your temps, and make sure they're fed. Hungry snakes can be pretty nasty. After they figure out that your not a threat, they'll calm down.

  • what do u mean by temps

  • the temperature in the cage. ball pythons like the hot part to be from 80 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit and they like the cool side to be 70 to 75 degrees fahrenheit.

  • ok thnx

  • Comment removed

  • lol guess we have the same luck!!!YEAH!!!!!!!!!!(to jonathancantalk)

  • iam get'n won in about 2 munts

  • w00t my parents already agree to buy me 1!!juz waiting to get it!!

  • lucky my parents wontttt _-_

  • OMG ME TO!!!!!!!

  • 6 ft is about the maximum a female can reach. Males average 3.5-4 ft and females average 4-5 ft. But it all depends on how much you feed them and several other factors. Like you said, long-lived ball pythons will get larger as they grow their entire livers, but i've only ever seen one over 5 ft, at the Canada National Reptile Breeder's expo. And it was only like an inch or so more.

  • just got my balll python snake Jane.. she is only 20 inches long. if anyone has any advice plz messge me :)

  • Thank u very much! I think that will work!!!
