You do know that before 1862, the region was known as "Gia Định", only after the French (yes, your boss) decided to go with "Saigon" it becomes "Saigon" right?
"Saigon" huh? If you "love" Vietnam so much why are you so eager to throw away the Vietnamese name "Gia Định" and go with "Saigon"? I mean, after all, it's the Vietnamese language that Vietnamese has kept for 1000 years under the Chinese ruling right?
