Take note how some on TV can not call Obama a MAN and his mother a White woman, but they call him African-American. Obama is White-American and this only by birth in Hawaii Tucker (MSNBC) calls Obama a Black American, because he can not say "Black Man" I see this too often on TV to miss it along with, "this is not about race". All in mainstream media is at a loss what to say/ not say when trying to 'dis' him and how I enjoy this fact!!!

Hillary has experience, yes. But she also has more experience in washington which means she is much more capable, hence more likely, of employing deception than Obama. On the basis that all, ALL, politicians lie at some level, it seems that Obama is the only whole-hearted candidate who truly wants to reach out and unite the divided people.

Anyone catch how his intonation imitates Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" speech?: Obama: "in every corner of this country" MLK: "the corners of American society" Obama: "the snows of iowa" MLK:"...ring from the snowcapped Rockies". Yeah I know. Barack's so stupid. Using inspiring imagery reminiscent of one of the greatest speakers of all time. Especially one who legitimately paved the way for his candidacy. I mean the last thing I want is somebody who'll remind me that America can overcome its darker periods. He's such a loser.

I don't think I would call him a loser, but it is almost offensive to hear something that sounds so much like MLK, who I deeply respect. Kind of like Bush inserting Bible-quotes in his speeches but worse. This should upset people, not cause them to cheer.

Actually I was being sarcastic. I really liked the speach. But I see your point. For better or worse, it seemed like he was taking on a tone much like a lot of black preachers. Still, its hard to argue that he's not a great speaker.

MLK sounded like a preacher at times too. But he didn't cop phrasing off of other leaders. His speeches were incredibly original. Obama repeats change, change but he's for nuclear energy, expanding the military and his "green energy" (ha - nuke is not green)goals are set 4 2025, 2040, & 2050. Too late for me!

I can't help myself. The "I have a dream" speach starts with "5 score years ago." I can't get angry at Obama for reminding us that we can overcome national troubles, just as Dr. King did.  Regardless of whether you agree with his policies, this was a great speech.

And to pull a few phrases out a 17 minute speech and then to compare his speaking style to MLK when it resembles a lot of preachers is unfair. And I would never critisize MLK for sounding like a preacher... he was a preacher. And thats part of why he could be so inspiring.
