  • My father served with 45 Comando from 1944 to 1945 when he was posted to another Commando in the Far East) - he is 85 now and it remains one of the things in his life of which he is most proud. He says 'once a marine, always a marine' - and from what I know that is very true.

  • I remember when my local infantry battalion (2nd Royal Anglian) paraded through my hometown a couple of years ago, it was an amazing atmosphere, thousands turned up to welcome our lads home from A'stan!!

  • A great video. I was in the Arbroath parade with 8TP Zulu when we came back from Belfast 86, I think we had it easy compared to these younger lads. We are all proud of our serving brothers.
