My father served with 45 Comando from 1944 to 1945 when he was posted to another Commando in the Far East) - he is 85 now and it remains one of the things in his life of which he is most proud. He says 'once a marine, always a marine' - and from what I know that is very true.
You guys are inspirational - true heroes in difficult times. R.M Condor should NEVER close. 45 are some of the best in the world & are known internationally for their achievements. I salute you from the safety of my couch!....
I remember when my local infantry battalion (2nd Royal Anglian) paraded through my hometown a couple of years ago, it was an amazing atmosphere, thousands turned up to welcome our lads home from A'stan!!
A great video. I was in the Arbroath parade with 8TP Zulu when we came back from Belfast 86, I think we had it easy compared to these younger lads. We are all proud of our serving brothers.
Al spearhead forces look out of place doin' drill and marching around, cuz they hate it thats why. They are destroyers and blower uppers not drillers. LOL
march with pride..you royal marines.
