  • Looks good. I've had this casserole before over a my cousin's house she used bisquick instead of cubed bread.

  • @kimmy1984 - Thank you. We love this casserole, especially for holidays.

  • looks good

  • @Bigpussycat5 - Thank you!

  • I made this with the regular jimmy dean sausage links, because that is what I had on hand, I also added dry mustard 1tsp., It came out great. Everyone loved it.

  • @klezsue - I am so glad that you enjoyed it! Thanks for trying the recipe.

  • lower fat? Eat the breakfast casserole and have salad for the rest of the day. People! Live a little!

  • I was looking for something that I could make for christmas before church and this is PERFECT... prepare christmas eve and pop it in the oven on christmas morning... Thanks for the recipe! :)

  • @ChannieR2 - You are welcome. We have it every Christmas morning. I hope you enjoy it!

  • @dingdongditch337 - Thank you! I hope you enjoy it!

  • *Sigh* - I wish my stomach could handle the real hot & spicy stuff like this, b/c it looks so good! So glad I can adapt this recipe to my personal taste, though.

  • @MyFreedomChannel - You can absolutely use mild sausage and adapt it totally to your own taste!

  • @LovingLosing - Yes, they are teaspoons.

  • sorry, its called salchicha parrillera :)

  • i wish you were my mom lol... i could do it but i think we have a different kind of sausage here in argentina called salchicha de asado, wich means sausage for barbecue, but thanks for the recipe :)

  • @lucassaenzcarp - You are welcome. You might could try different sausages and see how it works.

  • This is a wonderful dish! A got a very similar recipe from a friend's Mom.... I love it. I never thought to fix everything together with the eggs. That's a great idea!

  • @GrubGripe - Thank you. It is a great recipe to make ahead.

  • As usual another lovely recipe tks Lynn one question though do v have to bring 2 room temp before baking or straight frm fridge?

  • @10pdf - Thank you! I always just take it out of the refrigerator and put it right in the preheated oven. If you use a glass baking dish, I think it would be fine.

  • Thanks Lynn!

  • @mlkrnb - You're welcome.

  • Lynn, where did you get the rectangle plates? These are perfect for serving brunch but I have not been able to find them.

  • @mlkrnb - The plates are Longaberger. I think they are actually called appetizer plates. Hope this helps. They come in a variety of different colors.

  • Ok this is by far the best and easiest recipe on youtube. Thank you so much:) and I will be trying it asap!!

  • @briezebaby - Thank you. It is one of my family's favorite recipes. I hope you enjoy it!

  • I made this for my room mates at college and they loved it :)

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen - Thank you, Betty.

  • Long time no see Lynn, but an amazing comeback, it's certainly on my menu! Thanks! xx

  • @thecameronrowe - Thanks. Was really busy for a while. Things have slowed down, so I hope to get back to getting at least one video up every week.

  • @MrsMSG79 - The bread doesn't come out soggy. It puffs up and gets a crust on the bottom and a little bit on the top. The onion sounds great.

  • Looks GREAT! I'm just wondering why it has to be refrigerated for 12 hours before baking it?

  • @metamorphicmuse - I think it is so the bread can absorb the egg and milk. I have actually refrigerated it for a few hours and it has come out fine. Usually when I make it, I do it the day before I am going to serve it, so it does sit that long before baking.

  • That looks delicious Lynn, thanks!

  • @SilkMandel - Thank you.

  • Nice and easy looks great Lynn!!

  • @angelwings500 - Thank you.

  • this looks great! it would be cool if you could taste the end product at the end of the video and get your "reaction" of it. =)

  • Looks good. I would like to try this, but with onions and peppers added in.

  • @VirgoDar - That sounds like a great addition.

  • Thank you for another good recipe. I am wondering if you have any fun ideas for summer dinners? Now that its getting nicer out we like to grill, but I am always looking for quick, easy little side dishes or salads. Any good ideas?
