  • I have a 94 sable gs 3.8 v6 and I heard it's better to go with a supercharger then turbo

  • planning to do something like that to my taurus. how much did the turbo cost??

  • heyy what kit did u use to turbo it and where can i get one?

  • OMG YOU ARE MY HERO !!!!!! HOW????????? lol i would kill to have my Taurus turbo-ed and thanks for using the Vulcan motor is gets sicking watching a million shos being moded

  • Is there a strategy to using the pushrod motot as opposed to the SHO engine???

  • That's impressive. I never thought anyone would turbo charge a taurus.

  • It's a custom vulcan from a turbo Ford Probe LX. The most hp it ever saw was 323whp & 323wtq on 23 psi. Shortly after that the engine and trans were parted out to another probe guy that has plans to twincharge it.

  • @RedShiftKYPO

I think, that guy is me )))) lol and i am going to post (soon) a new DYNO video of a TWINCHARGED Probe.

Did i say, i sold my MS1 with all the wirings and got a MS2?

  • What kind of horse power numbers do get out it?

  • wat parts do u got and where did u get them... and wat do u have for the tranny?? plz help me!1

  • im doing the same to my probe... 1st gen lx... what are some of the mods that where custom..? like the manifolds, turbo!??! and did you have to move stuff in the engine bay!?!?

  • lol... is that the iron duke 4 cylinder?

  • dont kick him for what he does guys.. you dont have to understand why hes putting a turbo on a SLO... i just hope theres a transmission out there that can hold up for you haha

  • haha nice even though it aint a SHO. i used to race my 92 taurus gl but nothing compared to my 89 SHO

  • why do people do this to a 3.0L OHV or SOHC V6 with 153hp?

    wht not the duratec

  • It okay to have a unique vulcan, since most people mod Duratecs it's nice to be creative every once in a while.

  • ya but,

these vulcs can only cut 5.500Rpmor is it 5.700rpm well around their.

    there great engines but.

    i don't recommend for racing.

    i just don't think it's worth it.

but that is just my opinion.

    don't go by me

  • They did use the vulcan in the early model ford probes and it was considered a sports model, it wasn't that big of deal. I would of had one and I would of had fun with light modifications to it.

  • That vulcan sounds SICK!!

  • isnt that the turbo probe i am pretty sure it is

  • you are right, it is. I wasn't sure when I posted the video.

  • why even waste your money turboing a regular taurus?

  • SHO's are better.

  • then its an automatic taurus.

  • thats a 4 banger. that isnt a taurus.

  • no sir that is a 3.0 V6 vulcan engine. count the header tubes. there is only 3 in the front.

  • Definitely Vulcan v6, hence the valvecover in front that says 3.0v6

  • Why use a pushrod motor as opposed to an SHO motor?

  • Because the SHO engine never came stock in the probe LX; the car in the vid is not a Taurus.

  • I know, but if you're spending that kind of money why not go DOHC?

  • yeah the duratec 24 v dohc would be way better ...

  • Thats a 3.0L V6 Vulcan not even close to a 4 banger.

  • LOL 4 bangers don't sound like that... not even with an exhaust

  • @superflybmx18 Stick to riding bicycles.

  • This is something I always wanted to see!, a Turbo Taurus!..this is great Show more...love to see it Run!

  • Can definitely tell it's a vulcan v6 ... love the sound. Who wants to do that to mine!

  • Right...there's another video of a turbo first gen probe and at the beginning has the same engine clip as you near the end of your video. So who's the bullshitter?

  • it isn't my car don't ask me.
