  • Was driving my cab during Las Vegas Marathon stuck in traffic with people. Then across the street I hear this song. Made them stop and listen. It made the night OK.

  • The piano really adds to this song. I really like the accordian in their acoustic stuff as well.

  • FUCK THE LAWWWWWWWW

  • FUCK THE LAW.

  • I've listened to this so many times the intro sounds ok!

  • 4 people sucks dick!

  • what year is this from??

  • This is the best version of this song I've ever heard. The energy conveyed was awesome.

  • real tough guy song!

  • @NWONoWorldOrderNWOyou mean keyboards aint dude

  • i think social distortion is the only punk band that uses big words in there songs i like it it shows that punks can be smart too

  • was listing this when was locked up. social distortion <3!

  • THE NAME SOCIAL DISTORTION IS TALIKNG ABOUT THE HUMAN RACE-UNLESS THE HUMAN BEING IS ENLIGHTENED THEY HAVE A SOCIAL DISTORTION ABOUT THEM MEANING THEY ARE FOUNDED ON LIES DECEPTION-LIKE THE WHOLE FAMILY STRUCTURE IN AMERICA-FROM HOLIDAYS-TO BIRTHDAYS-TO THE RELIGO-POLITICal CORRUPTION GIVING OUR ENERGYS ON THOSE SPECIFIC DAYS--------IS REALLY OCCULT HOLIDAYS AND SABBATS-WHERE THE ILLUMINATI HAS SACRIFICIAL BLOOD RITUALS THE ZODIAC CALENDER WE KNOW-WHILE WE THE AMERICAN RELIGOUS PEOPLE CAN'T SEE

  • @SmklookinGlass Pshaw, hahaha

  • 3 people are prison bound

  • Nice eyeliner dude.

  • Think he could kick some ass?

  • saw Social D at the old Irvine Meadows last night, great show, Mike's son played guitar in Prison Bound - did a great job

  • @lespaulDC1 As did I, loved it. Wish I'd had pit tix tho. $13.00 for some beer called Firestone?? I had one in each hand...

  • my brother.

  • Sound guy was slackin... damn...

  • LOL Yes... that's the nature of a live show..... love the live reaction and how they seamlessly rolled into the rest of the song perfectly. Social D, Mike Ness, the whole band, fucking rock! Thanks ya'll!!

  • for anyone for loves social distortion look up the band volbeat! volbeat is inspired by social d, elvis presely, and jonny cash! they are awesome.

  • gave up image for fame...age does that to u unfortuately...love social D anyway

  • @dethwisper

It isn't even about that though dude. Go talk to 10 45yr old greasers and you'll find 9 dudes who were punk rockers when they were 17. Social D just did the same growing process with their music

  • anyone remember when social d was punk?

  • @dethwisper yeah you mean their stuff before mike got off heroin and the music suddenly changed with the album Prison Bound. They didn't sell out for fame as they still didn't get very famous afterwards. Mike changed his writing based on his drastic changes in his life.

  • ewww i can smell the alcohol and b.o. on this one

  • Am I the only one that was to drunk to catch that?

  • 2 people suck ass!

  • mike ness is the best singer evr

  • One of my favorites but.....the drummer kicks ass but looks soooo uncomfortable.....Still killer though.

  • @TheFlatheadpete I think the drummer looks off at the start because the piano/keyboard player seems to be off time. The rest of the song he's just kicking back, playing some music... :)

  • does anybody know who the piano player is?

  • @northropbound i think its the same dude who does the accordion when they do acoustic...although now i think about it...this comment doesnt really help...um...sorry lol

  • I love Social D but the beginning of this song was all over the place. The band must have had a hard time hearing each other. Not enough through the monitors!

  • The best!

  • The memories, young and dumb and full of cum, bound for tracy, gladiator school, 1973

  • @whammimjammin mine was Washington state Penitentiary @ Walla Walla and im still "Prison Bound" 6 wing here i come.

  • Just found out they're gonna be in E.P. on April 27th! I'm there!

  • did bob dylan originally come up with this chord progression?

  • die geilste Band ever!!! hoff, dass ich euch nochmal live sehe

  • I wish they would come here again.

  • This is one of the most common chord progressions rock/pop. They def weren't the first to use it and aren't the last either. NOOOOBS!

  • @bjensenbjensen Lemmy is god, Mike Ness is Jesus

  • who's the asswipe that gave this a thumbs down?

  • @RockinRustle the people who found out that Wagon Wheel's instrumentation sounds like a rip off of this song xD

  • Comment removed

  • @w4wxp

    both songs kickass

  • Men don't sing in prison. It would be inadvisable. Especially at shower time.

  • theres no dislikes :D

  • ...And this would be my cry-cry theme song right about now... Just found out my (ex)-fiance got locked up a week ago. Three time loser, he is. Who knows if he's going to get out anytime, let alone anytime soon. Social Distortion is our favorite band and this song tells our woes.... Fuck.

  • i wish i could see them play live

  • Its live music never going to be perfect!

  • am I the only one who heard that they had huge rhythm problems during the intro?

  • @isch1234567 and thats why this is the best version of this song ;)

i dont know, it just fits perfectly somehow

  • @isch1234567

and they just kept playing until they got it right... Can you say rock god?

  • @isch1234567 Yeah, I think it's a monitor problem between guitarist and piano man, because when Mike starts to sing all it's fixed up..

  • @dippivagou The guitar sounds fine after a few beats, but the piano is all the way off. I'd say it's more like the piano man didn't hear the drummer properly or something. How can you not stay on time with that pedal hihat if you hear it?

  • @isch1234567 hahaha helll yeah they did

  • @isch1234567 no i hope so that everyoner heard that ^^

  • Mike Ness = God

  • 0 dislikes, GOD !

  • @iagobSD There's no way anyone could dislike something this good.

  • anyone know what kind of hat Mike is wearing. like the brand it is and where you could buy one.

  • @joshuatrAsh just look in thrift stores man. i have one like that and i found it for 5 bucks.

  • @Punkouttacontrol I have a Brixton hat very similar but Mike's is cooler.

  • two years is how long im going

  • Ness is Fucking GOD

  • @hokie46 No clash I agree but Ramones? cmon that was a one trick pony from the beginning and I remember the beginning. You mention a London punk band along with 2 N.Y. bands, west coast punk was different and had a cooler vibe. And at the core they are all just rock and roll bands.

  • @deathdealer60546 LOL. Please. The Ramones damn near started the whole thing. By the time Social D and LA punk had legs, the Ramones had 3 or 4 truly great albums under their belt. I like some LA punk, but the Ramones are king. They wrote the script, and everyone tried to keep up. This is common knowledge, man. You don't have to agree, but you're wrong if you don't. And now Social D is a joke. Have you heard their newest? What a piece of shit.

  • @hokie46 Your opinion is your own as is mine.

  • @deathdealer60546 Fair enough. Peace

  • @deathdealer60546 cmon...see the MC5 from Detroit.

  • @1like2rock Kick out the Jams kicks ass!!!!

  • After spending most of my life listening to metal and ignoring my punk friends telling me how much I would love this band, I started listening to them about a year ago. I too have a lot of time to make up, but I am off to a good start. Saw them 3 times last year and just got tix this morn to a show in May.

Ness is a genius and Social D is one of the most underrated bands ever!

Ill be forever grateful to my friend Kenny who insisted I listen to them!

  • the piano adds a lot of range to this tune... SD kicks butt!

  • 0 dislikes, THATS RIGHT! lol <3

  • There is something wrong with the piano at the beginnen...but still a great song!

  • timeless...

  • Probably my biggest regret in life is that I didn't even know Social D even existed until like 2-3 years ago. I have a lot of fucking time to make up.

  • @beautifulsarah100

same @ here! social d. helps a lot in bad and difficult times - the most important thing is, that life is getting better...

  • Best version EVER.

  • Is it appeared on a DVD? Maybe on "Live in Orange County" ?

  • This version is so great!

Mike Ness is a fucking Gutters-Goethe...one of the greatest and best lyric writer our time!

  • it makes me feel alive...alive for real !!!

  • gonna see 'em in january in vegas! where my sick boys at?

  • social d fan since 1983

  • what's wrong with that piano?

  • They need to lose the piano.

  • @gr8latino they dont need to lose it, he was just playin it all fucked up

  • hey very cool song... but notice the begining all of tempo

  • Best version ever!

  • Right the fuck off the cheeto!
