Either im blind, or I'm blind, but the MSR is smaller than the L118A. The scope can almost touch the side of the screen unlike the MSR. SLOWLY click pause like .2 seconds after 3:06 and you'll see that the MSR scope is a lot smaller, and the front barrel does not take anymore space. SO there for the MSR obviously wins. Like it didn't already.

L11 and the MSR are in the top 3 worst snipers in the game. the only thing worse is dragonuv AS50 is most powerful it gets less hit markers, barret has good fire rate and huge clip, and RSASS having fastest fire rate is good for hardcore modes since it can 1 hit with silencer (in hardcore)

In all honesty these 2 snipers are highly overrated, the only true perk they have is the faster running speed since bolt action rifles are lighter so no thnx

MSR is also half the size of the L18, so if you want to be really tactical the shorter barrel will not stick out of a window or around a corner very much compared to the L18, which can be extremely useful in S&D when the little details really matter.

Okay, i used both snipers:

MSR= i like it, but for quickscoping i think it sucks (my opinion)

L118a= you will unlock it MUCH faster, better to quickscope. i see this as the best sniper in MW3.

Barret.50 call.= in my first levels (1-80) i used this but it doesnt stay very steady like the MSR or L118a.

conclusion: 1st L118A 2nd MSR 3th Barret
